I am a boomer. I inherited the taste of music from my parents. My father was a WW2 Marine and mother was a professional dancer. They loved the music from then. I heard it often. Thank you for the videos, you take me home.
I love this. It brings back memories of an old live jazz pub I used to go to in the early 80's. It was the Lord Napier in Thornton Heath, Croydon and my favourite band there was Bill Brunskill And His Jazzmen. This really takes me back.
Not the ingenious stirring trash I was used to in the Haysi times, but still of fascinating creativity and beauty. Almost one year here and not more than 700 views / 7 thumbups? It's a screaming shame!
Hej Kate. Ohh what a music you play and are singing here. Not every day fore sure. 3 tings here Good looking women/good music and big talent, waw what a day. Thank you. Hans E DK.
Fantastic....love the stride piano too, Im a bit of a rocker who enjoys punk, oi, ska, squeeze, tony Bennett, Nat King Cole...and the lovely Mrs Mills!! Too much ignorance in music, the old think everything after 'their time' is 'just a noise' and crap...and the young think anything before their time is 'shit'...my mum who is 94 likes a bit of Ted Nugent and my 21 year old daughter love Frank Sinatra and has done since she was 6!!!...enjoy music people, you wont be around to enjoy it forever!
Very good singing and playing. Very nice video. 😃 👏👏👏
Wow. I misses this for 11 years. Fantastic. Thanks for uploading.

I love this Kate. Glad I found you.
Great video! Some really beautiful pianos in that shop. I once had a Shiedmayer

wonderful :)
That's because it's not Kate Garner from Haysi Fantaysee… This one is a real musician!
And she happens to be Chas Hodges' daughter, so the musical pedigree completely shines through.
