The fact that the majority of the public didn't know Clint was musically talented is a testament to his humility. Actor, director, producer, singer, pianist, composer, veteran and politician.
When I saw him in Carmel he was a Ferrari race car driver and a heck of a golfer sinking birdies on Pebble Beach Golf Course during the Bing Crosby Pro-Am. Too talented!

It's amazing to see a true, "Renaissance Man" playing the piano with both experience and confidence. Imagining his, "Killer Personna" from the movies pouring out his artistic expressions on the ivory keys. I keep waiting for his eyes to squint in righteous indignation and say, "Do you feel lucky; now did I play 5 notes or 6, in the excitement, even I lost count!!" Clint could turn 12 bar blues into 11 without anyone dare complaining!
Clint Eastwood is one of those rare individuals that was truly born blessed with everything that life can possibly offer,guy is good looking, has a great personality,hes approaching 90 and still has plenty of hair.
He can play the piano like nobody's business (if you are a true fan you would know the piano part) playing piano back in the early early days was how sometimes he would put food on his table,hes a good actor,a great friend,a incredible director.
Hes famous for having "no nonsense" movie sets, you either "do your job or get the fuck out of my set" is basically his motto and is known for running movies under budget and with respect for all personnel present, from the stars to the guy that sweeps the floor.
Guy served in the military, for the cherry on top, this man survived a plane crash,something that kills thousands of people each year and swam like a mile to shore since the plane crashed in the ocean,yep,the stars were certainly aligned properly when he was born, most of us grew up watching this guy in movies and consider him a big brother,i will miss him terribly when hes gone.

I play guitar and write and had the honor of singing a few of my songs and being interviewed on Mr. Eastwood's radio station KRML in between road tours with Willie Nelson. Being in that Iconic radio station in Carmel, Ca was unique in my experiences of many wonderful radio stations and many interviews.
The very air in KRML was a distilled essence of Eastwood Blues. Everything was perfect - the lighting, the interior of the station, the acoustics, the equipment and sound engineer down to the mellifluous voice of the DJ interviewing me. There was a lilt to the cadence of the dialogue we had that day that seemed to exhale unspeakable gratitude on both our parts for being part - however long (for me just an hour)- of a radio station that was also a work of art.
I gently packed my KRML coffee cup in my suitcase to be put in a place of honor and used only when I needed reminding of what it felt like to be in the pocket.

It’s just my opinion that Mr. Eastwood is the ultimate man on the planet. I have loved him since he played Rowdy Yates on Rawhide. There nothing he’s done that isn’t pure perfection. He is truly blessed and so are his children. So are we who get to witness this incredible man. Thank you Mr. Eastwood.

Many people don't know that Clint aspired to be a musician BEFORE he decided on trying out acting as a career! He has helped compose scores for some of his films, is a very talented guy! He also sings quite well! He is also a great director, who doesn't SHOUT "lights, camera, action!" He quietly says to the actor, "alright, go ahead." And he says, quietly, "that'll do" to the actor instead of SHOUTING "Cut" or "that's a wrap." Understated authority, an immense talent, is Clint!

"Piano Blues" is part of a multi-episode PBS series on the Blues. In it Eastwood plays duet with Ray Charles sitting at the same piano. You can also see him playing piano in the movie Honky Tonk Man. In his on-air interview with Marian MacPartland he said it was his mother who led him to piano lessons. He also said when a teenager, including still in high school, he played piano in dive bars & honky tonks in his native San Francisco for pocket money.

Hugh Laurie is actually good. He definitely has the New Orleans Blues down. Clint is a great talent as a Director and Actor but he plays so stiff it's uncomfortable to listen to.
