pretty good strat if I had to say, although I play Bel'akor's WOC campaign and personally I like to go for mostly daemon unit gifts, except for undivided gifts, particularly, the shatterstone gift, the like 60+% replenishment rate for marauder units. and +100% vassal tribute are all pretty good for starting up lots of armies in a fairly ok pace. Plus with Bel'akor's army benefits for daemon units he has it can turn his army into a real ass-kicker.

And if you are playing a dedicated faction like vilitch or azazel, which lord would you then choose?

I hate that you cant get a sorcerer hero of nurgle, i always get a couple of sorcerer lords as nurgle casters

Can you really not through path of glory from lore of death? I haven't played Festus yet
