You need to check the settings in googles for motion controller as it's probably not set to max speeds. I just flew Mini 3 pro with motion controller 2 and it was easily hitting 36mph.
@@xavier_arthur If you never get above 22mph, I would check the speed limits in the settings. MC default settings are known for being set lower for beginners.
Excellent approach ! Thanks a lot for the comparison between M4P and Avata 2. I got both but didn't have time to try the googles and.motion controller with the Mini 4 Pro. Great idea you had !
Avata and mini series are made for different purposes. They will behave similar when used in normal/sport mode but Avata can be used in acro, and that is something that mini cant do 😮💨
Thabks for the comparison. I was looking for something like this. Can you continue this video removing the default speed limit on Mini 4? Also, because MP4 does not export Gyro data because it has a gimble, can youncompare which will result a morr stabilized video in fov mode (Avata 2 + Gryflow vs MP4). Many thanks bro, got a subscriber here...
You compared the 2 different drones without using the Avata 2 to its full potential. You didn't do any rolls or flips that is possible with the Avata 2 that isn't possible with the Mini 4. It's like comparing apples to oranges without tasting them. Two different flavors of flying.
one of the first honest opinions. I had the same opinion like you when the avata 1 came out and of course i bought the mini 3 pro. but unfortunately people want the newest and greatest. Dji makes a very good marketing
Good evening, So for clarity, Do I need the Rc Motion 2 controller to use the goggles with the mini 4 pro. Or is using the rc 2 remote with it possible?
You don't need the motion controller, only the goggles, however the motion controller is only 100 bucks more and offers a fantastic flight experience 💪
The Avata is not a fpv freestlye drone its a cinematic drone and we will see over time if people use acro mode / manual mode most people will get the standard controller the one it comes with is just a gimmick and will wear off over time. Dji knows this but there going to make a ton of money off of this thats why the controller is sold alone right now but time there will be a combo with the standard controller in time.
10 year drone pilot here , I rip harder than most guaranteed… the motion controller is the best rc controller ever…hands down…not a gimmick im staring at every major controller release in the last decade on my shelf right now, none compare to ease of use, overall fun, etc.
@@AdamWeatherall Well don't think you rip harder then anyone else lmao, but that been said if you think a motion controller is better than a standard controller with machined hall sensor gimbals i doubt very much 10 year drone pilot here lol, FYI just because you buy everything and cant use it correct just means you are a silly little man Lmao.

I'm thinking of getting the Mini 4 Pro or the Avata 2 My plan to use it for real estate videos like exterior drone videos and interior surely im goona do some photography too aside from taking drone videos Im confused about which one should i get because - mini 4 pro doesn't have a wide angle camera guess i can buy one because i need extra wide for interior videos. And it comes with the controller stick - avata 2 doesn't come with controller stick and i heard the camera is not as good as the mini 4 pro especially for photography and low light situation videos But i really want to have the googels but i only have cash for either of them Im a total beginner, not going to do some extreme action FPV but i really love the Googles concept especially if i want to explore nature Hence saying that, which one would you recommend? Would the mini 4 pro will be beyger with the wide angle lenss? - im not going to fo crazy fast fpv shot - just smooth cinematic, maybe low ground shot but i really need the wide angle lense for real estats photography
@@dennismitchel6834 hey , I got the same question here. I'll use the drone for real estate videos and photography and I really want to have the googles. Which one did you get? how is it?
a yes spend 1700 dollars for a drone thats not made for fpv thats really slow and not agile with a slightly better camera instead of paying 999 dollar 💵 for the avata 2 fly more combo how smart i like your videos ❤
Correct 💯 Some people will never go into manual mode but just want to experience some fpv 💪 Mini 4 Pro will do just fine! For those more serious at heart either jump into the Avata 2 or get something bind & fly
I didn't believe in the motion controller. I tried for the first time today along with the Avata 2, now I dont even know if I want to get the other controller!😂😂 it's super easy and gives one a lot more confidence. I have tried acro mode in an smaller whoop and even though i got to handle it confidently landing and hovering was always a challenge more or less. Not with the motion controller, genius.
Once again! Why do we need so many controllers? DJI IS NOT being environmentally friendly. You TH-camrs must reach out to DJI to also have the controller 3 compatible with others drones like the Mini 4 and Air 3 Or the RC 2 compatible with the Avata 2. This seems so logical why hasn't DJI done this? It's all O4 so it should just be a software update.
