No one remembers that when N.Z was racing the teams a month ago we were using our old rudder old foils and old sails from our old boat Te Rehuti winner of the 36th AC. Now we have our NEW rudder NEW foils NEW Sails 😊 pretty much new faster boat

I like NZ foils shape and measures... in middle wider and tips smooth. New sail travel and sails looking also newly good. Go kiwis Taihoro was travels up to Spain on a NZ fruit ship and sucked up mutch energy and vitamin 🥝-apples fresh from aotearoa.
I know nothing about sailing so can someone answer me? After such a dominant performance is the AC effectively over and NZ simply have a much faster boat? Is there anything GB can change or are they just waiting (probably in vain) for NZ to make mistakes or different conditions?
Really important to realise weather conditions will make a massive difference in how both boats perform. It's known from previous races that the NZ boat does well in light conditions. It's also known that INEOS is fast in higher wind ranges. I think a windier day will provide a far better gauge on the differences between the boats.
Ahhhh an electrical issue delayed the British Team. My Range Rover Classic must be using similar technology and often giving grief when least expected… just saying!

Oh wow. Hasn't time changed. Before technology I use to see sailors running from one end of the boat, changing sails, now there is no one. What's next, remote controlled boat?
No these are not boats, not really. It's not like you could, or would want to, go out and buy one and sail on it. "Hey let's round up some cyclists and put on out kevlar race suits and helmets and microphones and go for an afternoon sail." No one does that with these contraptions.
Can everyone please stop posting things like 'CONGRATULATIONS [WINNING TEAM]!' so that we who are trying to watch the race without knowing the result can enjoy it? Boats are a mass of entangled interrelated variables. Both teams will make gazillions of changes every day. This event is far from over.

It feels like who's doing the better job at reading the wind shifts etc. ... and being able to use that to your advantage.
