Polishing to me is refining the paint. Which means if there are swirls, it can remove. But if used after an aggressive Compound, the polish is essentially getting rid of the imperfections that the compound has created/left behind. Its what I would rather call "light compound", when regular compound would be "moderate/heavy compound".
Long, long time user. Recently i've had 4 products separate into a watery, sludgy, useless mess. I've found that Jax Wax is now my go to for detailing. Customer service leaves much to be desired.

Not sure which product specifically you are referring unless it is the Car Wash Plus which was discontinued a few years ago now. As shown in the video you can simply use the Gold Class Wash instead. We wash them in a standard washing machine along with microfiber towels w/ laundry detergent which has no fabric softeners or bleach. Normal cycle, warm wash, cold rinse, extra rinse. Many users will also pre-soak and/or wash in a bucket with water and/or with an all purpose cleaner which has no fabric softeners.

Hi, we would recommend a good coat of protection, like our Ultimate Wax. Although it is raining, frequent cleaning is still recommended, like a traditional two bucket washing or waterless wash. Also, if there is preperation work required on the vehicle prior to applying a coat of wax, like the use of detailing clay & our Smooth Surface Clay Kit, it is always highly recommended to take that step if the vehicle paint needs it.
If you mean a ceramic coating it will replace the wax in step 4 (Protect). Keep in mind you will also need to follow the ceramic coating manufacturer's directions as it relates to prep before applying their coating.

I wash all pads and towels using old fashion grey soap flakes instead of washing powder or gel and it’s great
