Someone needs to make a TikTok of the mutant school montage made into a commercial for Xavier School for the Gifted, and then then pan out to Jane Lynch backing out dancing from behind the TV set from Role Models.
Logan is absolutely a comic book movie. It pulls from 3 diff storylines from the actual comics. It just happened to have amazing writing, directing and acting. It is by far one of my fave movies of all time, let alone comic book. But you can't say it's not a comic book movie just because it's so good. LOL
I was so hyped to see this movie, but I was left a bit disappointed in how a number of X-Men were portrayed in this film. I'll still watch it every now and then; it was a decent film for the 1st X-Men film, but not great.
So was I but when I saw it again on dvd I started to appreciate it a bit more. I didnt like how Cyclops was a side character, Wolverine and Sabretooth didnt have a past and Rogue was so far away from the snarky southern belle I crushed on as a kid. I accepted the changes and just viewed it for what it was and really enjoyed it. It was the only Xmen movie we had so I was a bit more forgiving.
1:20:46 It's funny that, you mention this scean, because there's a similar scene with James Marsden in Disturbing Behavior. th-cam.com/video/5Ws2Yy6zdXE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=XUJ3-jwVgBr1mMGM
