A wise top pick, and the Celica, at least from the front, still looks wonderful. Another consideration is the Mk1 Fabia VRs, simply for the thrill of torque.
Miata NB is perfect for a sporty car. Why not use it as a daily? It's super reliable and comfortable enough. I think you missed the fact that the NB weighs about 1000 kg and if you get the right one, it has 146 hp. It would be one of the fastest on your list.
the reason I said don’t use it as a daily is that I put practicality as a priority in a car (I have two dogs and friends who may want a ride). So two seats and a 150l trunk kinda put me off. Other than that, it’s a great car.
@@driveonthewildside yeah, it is not the most practical one but I think as a sporty vehicle, it's one of the best on your list. The BMW would be next, but let's face it, no one is going to buy a 318, you're gonna get a 320 or better. so judging by that, I think the BMW is the best all-rounder. I don't think the Toyota can compete as a sporty car with the other 2 because first it's fwd and secondly, it's a toyota 1.8. It won't go any faster than the others.

thanks for your feedback, however, I don’t think you can find an MOT’d MK1 Fabia VRs for less than £1000
even in 1950s u cant afford a sporty car for $1000 lol
what’s your point exactly?
£1000 is not a lot of money for a car and yet you can still buy roadworthy examples of all these cars in this video.
@@driveonthewildside The Joke is that 1000 $ in 1950's USD equals 12,959.83 $ in 2024 USD. ^^

fair enough, but the only 6 cylinder BMWs I found for sub £1k were projects, so you might need to stretch your budget if you want a more powerful BMW.
