Hey Adam, after you fitted the conduit you left the top clamp on the lower part of the fuel inlet hose instead of up on the nipple of the original filter where you had it before you fitted the conduit (at 13:57) I hope you fixed it after you made the vid? I fitted exactly the same catch can and pre-filter from Western Filters to my X-Terrain (same colour as yours) about 6 months ago and they really are good stuff.

Thanks for another great video. I had my 1st service done a week or so back, just one year old next week. I also performed a service at 7500km with no issues. I love this vehicle they are a really good ute. Long story short, I had no concerns when I went to a dealer for that 15k service because my LSU is stock standard with only IUA accessories. Do you have any warranty concerns with all your upgrades?
Nope not at all. Unless the modification is the cause, warranty is still valid (regardless of the BS some dealers will try). It's an age old thing, not just Isuzu, has been tested in court etc etc.
hey adam cheers for the vid and discount!. Just a quick one, did you put that clip back on the OEM filter properly the one on the inlet at the elbow. Hate fir you to be drivin around without it fixed cheers
Hi Adam, thanks mate, I have the same kit however , 2015 DMAX. I don't have enough room in the engine bay due to lots of other stuff going on. I was going to put it under the tray next to the fuel filler location. I was going to get the quick connectors from the fuel tank end and just run it thru the filter and back to the original position. Two lines out of the tank,Large and small, do you know which is which by chance, so I get the right connectors? Thanks Stu

hey mate, cheers. 1) yes, you need the eblow as it would be too tight a cuver without and could kink so you need a bit of hose 2) nah, the oem filters are more fine anyway
Yes, great video again Adam. I would have liked to see how you check for water and how to change the element in the pre-filter. Checked out the Western Filters pre filter kit. Looks like they don't have a bracket for my vehicle but I should be able to fabricate something.
Pretty easy to change out the filter, you just twist off the lock ring, twist out the filter and replace. The water trap just has a similar twist bit on the bottom, twist out and water runs out if there is any :)

Heya! Love your stuff and bought a lot through your links! Thanks for that I’m having some issues, I followed your install on the fuel filter install and now the car isn’t starting, no leak, checked and tightened all connections, have primed and left for a minute, then ignition on for a minute then attempt to starts and just won’t turn over, have attempted that process a few times now, seems like it wanted to turn over once, and then didn’t, possible there is still air in the fuel somewhere, do I just keep repeating this process or is there like a bleeder somewhere? Really appreciate your help! Thanks!
@@VideoShowMeHow yeah perfect install, there was just a big air pocket in the pre filter, I ended up having to disconnect the outlet line from the factory filter and manually pumping to get all the air out of pre filter and factory filter then reinstalled the outlet line and she fired up first time Definitely a tip worthy of telling people as some may struggle if they don’t fill the pre filter with diesel prior

You don’t need to remove the metal guard nuts, just loosen them and slide the bracket towards the front of DMax & up

Give your water bowl a eyeball every few fill ups and filter to change with your fuel filter (every 15)

It's takes all off 5 mins to remove so that option if always if people wanted to remove for services etc

Yep all 20+ dmax are 4jj3 engines mate 👍 I'd say the fuel manager is probably pretty generic, then western filters adds their bracket etc

IF I install a catch can Provent 200 & Pre Fuel filter from western filters, there should be no concern getting dealer servicing done?
Haven't had any issues with mine so far with my dealer..
