I literally only saw it on Watchmojo, and I absolutely enjoyed that intro, mainly the part "But what if the dinosaurs weren't all destroyed? What if the impact of that meteorite created a parallel dimension where the dinosaurs continued to thrive and evolve into intelligent vicious aggressive beings?". Not even 1 minute into watching this movie for the first time, and already I found something to enjoy of it..😆

It was lacking, which made the outcome feel disappointing. How would you feel if you went to see lets say a Legend of Zelda movie expecting the timeless adventure to be played onscreen only for it to be a murder mystery set in a 1950s Hyrule with the only links to the franchise being the names of characters and locations? Perhaps that was an extreme example but thats my interpretation of it
I just love how the orchestra version of the theme song ends perfectly at both the crescendo and the jump shot to the street. **chef's kiss** flawless! Oh, and it feels good to hear more of it in the movie aside from just being in the beginning.

I was 9 when this came out,I really wanted to go see this, my older brother and my uncle went to see it,I saw it on bootleg about a year later,it was disappointing lol
I gotta say, even though this movie was not the gem it was trying to be, they did give some really cool moments. And it looks like they incorporated some into the 2023 version. Such as making them legit people in the real world, trying to make their way. And stumbling across a magical world in a similar way and above all, the way they talk to each other. So even though it was bad it still had some good ideas

I mean, the Smurfs did it, He-man did it, Alvin in the Chipmunks did it, I think the new Tom and Jerry movie did it. It's not that it's necessarily a bad thing but, why take them out of their world at all? And if you have to, why New York? Why not, say, Los Angeles or Portland?

I actually like the 20 years ago scene where the queen drops daisy at the orphanage. its the only tonally consistent scene and sets up the rest of the movie pretty well. wish you didn't cut it out.
