    This runs DEEP!....I'd rather hear the truth, cause sugar coating things is a waste of time. Thank you for you're honesty.

    Amazing! I’ve had to stop listening to you several times in this series just to take some breaths. That hit home deep, Kenny. I’ve blamed the world for my problems with no solution. Now, I have a solution. Because it’s not the world that needs to fix me. Thanks for your journey! Time to start mine.

      Ok but what is actually wrong with victimizing ourselves ? Our parents didn’t fulfill our childhood needs and it’s do painful to admit we have to do the work on ourselves now. Wouldn’t it be great if we just had received all that love from them and have them meet our needs for affection. Again we love to fantasize, another hard part to swallow since fantasizing is so wonderful! Because the reality is too painful.

    You gave me a great gift of a great memory from a dark time. I had a breakdown and while in the hospital a young man with a brain injury interrupted a phone conversation I was having to say, “I adore you”. I was startled and confused for a little bit. I just said, uh huh. I do usually have a hard time accepting compliments. But I don’t think I was even thinking of it as a compliment. Later in the day he asked to talk to me again. He explained that he had been in an accident where he was hit by a car while on his bike. While in the hospital recovering he was sexually assaulted by a male nurse. I had been sexually abused by my father growing up and had been openly talking about it in our group sessions. When he repeated again that he adored me I said oh, you mean you admire me. He got excited and said yes, that was the word he had been looking for. I was actually able to let it sink in and take the compliment because it wasn’t about something superficial. It was about the strength it took to talk about such a taboo subject within that group. During our next sessions he began opening up about his struggles and so did another man who had also talked to me about it saying he could never say it in a group. I told him I was pushing through embarrassment and shame to own my truth. That afternoon he took a deep breath and started sharing. Admitting these secrets seems overwhelming but when you do you quickly come to a place of peace.

    These hard truths are so necessary! It does take courage to work on oneself and stop playing the role we were given in childhood. Thank you!

    • @miami_dream_brows7152
      @miami_dream_brows7152 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      But that “role” feels so “right” in a way 😢. It hurts to be a loser but it just feels so safe if you know that I mean. It’s almost like some sort of punishment will come on me if I achieve success or express my true me. Does anyone else feel the same way? My biggest issue is creating safety in my life. That I am safe

    There is a continuity through all your teaching that is trustworthy and helping me change because your delivery is not in the way and even when you say you probably said things awkwardly its the perfect thing to hear pre the heavy truth you are going to present. Bottom line, I learn really well from you and the whole of your videos fills in all the pieces and questions if I am unclear or listen out of order. The main message set a foundation of the scaffolding to layer your points on and at times its clear like dominoes falling in my brain. Also, the story you share about your bully older brother was so validating to get me able to relax in the truth not brace against fear of being blamed yet again. It all resonates and calms me down to learn what I need that I have not yet understood or mastered. Glad you are so authentic and transparent in videos for this teaching.

    Thanks Kenny. You have another subscriber! After years of watching validating narcissist videos and lectures...is so nice to find someone helping us work on ourselves! The fact that the narc isn't alone with the false self mask isn't really discussed anywhere. I just canceled an appointment with a shrink....first time appointment. Asked him his definition of narcissistic trauma bond and he just gave me word salad on the phone. He claims to be a narc expert...ha ha

    Kenmy, finally i got it!!! After listening the second time. This I see and like to share: As long as you mention belittleing to others while sharing your great discovery, you belittlileing! Now i know why your message couldnt reach deeper. I felt something strongly off. Its your energy you are exposing, when you speak. It reflects your unprocessed emotion, awaiting rejection deep underneath. Its amazing, that that selfdenial, still carry the wound of rejection, will making others denial your truth. (They react unconsciouly and somatically to your energy and pressure You basically asking for being rejected with that selfdenial...

    I have been with you all day and have never seen an ounce of anything but love, concern and a need to get the information across to people so they can see what you have to say. I appreciate the research and time you have committed yourself to so that we can join you to become a complete, real human being. You will have many real people to have something in common with when you make your way through the denial and continue to share this. This is all so real to me. I have experienced theEmotion Code that everyone I tell about it thinks it is voodoo or something. I can hardly wait to get to the denial stage of this journey! Hope to meet up with you some day.

    Ok Kenny but in the part when you say your second wife was a devil and you knew it.. I did that many times too.. I already knew the whole story ending before it even started but I still wanted to have hope and try to change things with desire 😂… so then what can we do if that impulse to go for it is so strong?! You said in one of your videos that that impulse is our subconscious mind going happy because it can relive the childhood trauma. How can we stop ourselves from going for those people who are so damn irresponsible?! Thank you and love you ! You are just amazing ! I watch your videos everyday ❤

    Thank you for these videos. I get I need to hold myself responsible and I want to. My question is what do I do when confronted with rage, blame shifting, and love bombing? I am early in my journey of this and these are the areas when my heart and brain get very confused. I am also actively going to a coda 12-step program and reading Pia Melody books on codependency. I am ready and willing to put in the work, I do realize that I am the common denominator and I need to change an order to have a healthy and happy life. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. I love your humor and your laughter and I would like to get back to that same spot myself thank you for making me laugh when I watch your videos.

    So Kenny, are we avoiding responsibility because that would mean we have to be our true selves ? If I look for a better job, if I change my poor choices of men that means I am responsible for my actions so I take action from my authentic selves and this is so scary because now my false persona has to die. Am I understanding this correctly? Thanks in advance!
