My daughter is a Nanny. One summer she bought 2 of the big huge blue tubs full of Lego pieces from a neighborhood FB sales group. She told the man what she was going to do with them, he gave her a fantastic price. In the summer time, she ends up with children from the neighborhood hanging out....especially if they are home alone, or if Mom or Dad has errands to run. She kept those tubs out and had children come sort through them almost daily. They divided and conquered. When they found pieces that obviously were part of something....like a school bus, they would all stop sorting to see if they could find the pieces for the bus. They had a blast....and all ages, yep, those Dad's couldn't resist!
Last night I watched an old Million Dollar Lottery show on HGTV and it was one in Spring Hill. I thought of you and your new house. Fun toy fest. It is crazy that you know all the history and backstory on these LEGO. Interesting. Thanks.
We have family in Spring Hill. Always stop by the Brick University store (and Papa Clyde’s next door) when we’re in town. I’m sure you’ve been - would be a good place to help you source the sets you want.
I am loving this channel. I haven't made any sets myself but love to buy them for gifts for those I know that do. I will say that you are encouraging me to give it a try.
BTW, the TIE Interceptor was not sold out online on the opening day as you mentioned on your visit to the LEGO store video. In fact, it's still available today.
I loved the Potter Castle. If I watch any more of your videos I will end up getting my fist set. I will be the Potter Castle. I hope you show use the Titanic when she is done. I might get that one. Great Video on your Titanic cruise. would love to take that trip if they stop at the site again.
Hey! Tony the Dollar General store on hwy 50 has LEGOS! I was there yesterday and of course I thought of you, They’re on an end-cap toward the back of the store. Maybe they have something for you. Happy hunting 😆
If you sell any thing could you post it for us please. I’m getting back into it after many years. Also thank to you we have booked a NCL in February 2025 where it’s a carbon copy of your last cruise. Sure wish we could meet on a cruise one day. Take care and good lunch finishing the move.
did having the vintage lego still in the box mean anything …. trying to see if it mattered regarding the dilemma you were having … to keep or not to keep
@@locabricks I agree, would you be as interested in that set you bought if it was loose in a zip lock bag? Hope you flatten your boxes and keep them up off the ground.
Did you spend too much? That depends, after you paid and walked out of the VFW did you feel like a kid who got the best prize out of a quarter gumball machine? If you did, you didn't pay to much. Whatever it says online it is what the Lego means to you is what matters.

I’m glad I didn’t drive to Spring Hill today. I’m happy you found something cool. Otherwise, I thought that was a disappointing batch of LEGO.
We have the Titanic Lego built. It’s awesome.

SOoooo, we got the LEGO Titanic set yesterday. Now, do you build it OR do you save it as an investment to sell later? What say you?
I’m gonna build mine.
@locabricks am interested in others, but with the production coming to an end, I may wait to see what the market will be for one in an unopened box.

I think whenever you sell it good have the boxes.

I may be wrong, but it looks like most of those Lego sets were being sold in b-o-x-e-s . . . lol.
Most but not all. I think if you plan to sell it’s good to have the box.
