You need some fat to get that smooth texture in pate, otherwise it tends to become like a meatloaf. In Sweden, they make pates with ansjovis(actually are sprats that is spiced and lightly fermented) which gives a nice slightly sweet and spice flavor to the pate.
The best cooking show on tv.
It’s always so cheerful to get away from everything and escape to Norway for a few minutes. 🦌 ☺️ 🇳🇴
Only wish I were there, now! Andreas makes Norway look so inviting.

Geese is good! Thank you New Scan Man.
My father in law cooks geese like corned beef in a dutch oven and we make Goose reubens!

The place is so beautiful.
An acquired taste but I love goose.
I was hoping Andreas was going goose hunting
Which season/episode is this? I want to get the goose recipe from newscancooking!

That goose pate must have cost A LOT!!!!!!
I like this show, but today's video provoked a gagging response expecially the mixture of lard and goose liver.
There are definitely some interesting recipes on this show. Not the typical cheese and crackers 🤣
