great work man! great to see another angler achieving his goal. its definitely a great feeling wen u land ur target species on the 1st drop haha definitely a great feeling to land not just 1 of the puka but 2 especially after putting lot of hours on it.

The Blue Moki is a very sacred ika to our people of Whangaparaoa and is our treasured taonga. Instead of asking you not to shoot them etc I’d be keen to explain to you why it is a treasured ika to our people of the area and to share context and kōrero. @@aranha9365 damn that's chilly man! I'm not sure what temp they prefer, but I've come to learn structure is critical. If you can find deep water, structure and bait, you should be in luck. You on a yak too?
