I installed this kit four days ago, and thought I would post my thoughts on it. My vehicle is a 2019 Jeep Wrangler two door Sport, so no fancy options such as the blind spot detectors. Packaging: The kit was well packaged with the plates being bubbled wrapped. The only thing lacking was no instructions or written documentation of any type. Install instructions would have been nice, or at least a piece of paper pointing to this video install. Fitment: On a one to ten scale, ten being the best, this kit gets an almost ten on the fit scale. I did have to use a rubber mallet to make one of the panels bend radius change a bit. Appearance: I have already received three compliments on this kit. As I mentioned separately my kit arrived already painted black, and fortunately my Wrangler is black. Though this kit is flat black unlike my Wrangler, but it works. Install: The install is not difficult, the only real challange is getting the side markers lights nut tight when there is no way I saw to hold the lights with only your fingers. Use Loctite! Operation: I went with the white only tail light. The unit is bright, but the red leds don't look as bright to me as the original stock lights, but they do the job. The side marker lights are another matter. One of these lights is so much brighter than the stock marker lights, and now with two of them on each side, blinding! What I also like with this kit is that the side marker lights can be seen from the rear since the lights are on the bend, so to me it would seem safer since it provides more rear lighting. Electrical Connections: I did search and found more than one schematic on the electrical connections, so I instead cut the connectors off my stock lights and used a meter to sort out what did what function. -Black is the ground for the marker lights. Connect to the red wire on the markers. -Yellow is the hot wire for the markers. Connect to the black wire on the markers. If the wires were reversed, the markers would not work. The round rear light is labeled clearly and here is what I found on the connector. -Green is the directional and brake lights. -Blue is for the tail lights. -Orange is for the backup lights. -Purple is for the ground. Hope this helps someone making the install. P.S. Occasionally I have received dashboard warnings, usually when in reverse that the turn lights are not working. At some point I will use my Tazer and change the option to LED.
Just ordered a set. Stoked to get them on my jeep
Awesome! Thanks for the order.

I don't, give me a call and I will give you some pointers.
Can the original taillights go back on after the cut for the round lights are done?
I did the install four days ago, and to answer my own question, you can put the original lights back if for some reason you need.
yes they can
Just curious did you wire the side marker lights to the park light wire?
Yes, they are the same circuit as the tail lights. Thanks for the purchase. We hope you are liking the look of your new tail lights.
Need these for the JK

To my surprise my kit was painted black.
