@@TheBeardedJeeper yeah man.. I've been kicking around the idea of this conversion kit, but every time I'm ready to pitch the idea to the wife, something else needs fixing... pitman arm, drag link, tie rod and all ends... you know how it goes...
The tail lights look good. I know the struggle of putting in those type tail lights all to well. Also I have been using those wire connectors for a while now. A heat gun makes quick work of them. They work well as long as they are not in an area that gets too hot. Thanks for the video.
Thank you! And those connectors are awesome. I need to get a heat gun to make quicker work of them. The tail lights are super bright I love them. Thanks for watching
you need a load resistor to prevent the fast blink? Does that go for single LED bulbs as well? I was hoping I could buy LED bulbs without all this. Different model of car tho. Good vid, thanks
Ok soooo I been thinking bout moving my plate in the same manor as yours However have you ever had police hassle ya for it?? And how did you mount it ?? I can’t see any bolts or screws??
Allan Wagner haven’t got any haste for it yet I mean it’s in the stock location just bent around the body. I made a video on how I mounted it. th-cam.com/video/t_HQ37S4aMw/w-d-xo.html
It is certainly an option to attempt a DIY kit. I say go for it! This is for the guy thay wants a nice laser cut aluminum, cnc formed and powder coated plate. Time is money and if you have the time, save some money!
thanks brother! I really like the look of them as well. If I didn't have the wife help make sure they were straight they would be crooked for sure haha
Kyle thanks for this video my next project ordered them today great job .
Glad it will help. If you have any questions hit me up. Kinda nerve racking cutting up the body
How do you pop it out when it goes bad
You just push it in on one corner and pop it out
Awesome to see you working in the garage!
its so awesome to have a garage again. I love it!
Are these lights DOT-approved?
These tail lights are super appropriate right now
That is sick man! Looks so much better than stock. Wranglers get the coolest stuff!
I agree I love it! Dan and I were talking about seeing if we could retrofit them on a cherokee
@@TheBeardedJeeper That would be awesome
@@DEInTheGarage maybe we can get pandemic behind it to make something
Cool video bro. Very informative. See you on the trails!
Thanks for taking the time to check out the video. See you on the trails someday

I'd love to retro fit these into an XJ. Great vid buddy!
Project Dan H thank you sir! Yeah they would look sweet on an XJ. Maybe we can convince them to make a set for XJ too I would be the prototype
That looks sharp. Nice install video.
I agree and thank you
These tail lights are super bright! I love how awesome they look too! Drop any questions you have below. Thanks for watching!
Me and my tail lights didn't work out so well on my corner armor even with dish soap lol.
guess you need more dish soap haha
How expensive are they?
Glenn Peck link is in the description. Price changes depending if you want the harness and the load resistors
Great job on the install! The new lights look great
JK southwest thank you 🙏 and I agree these lights change the whole look of the rear of the jeep. Looks great

sugarmagnolia3477 thank you. I do too they are super bright too
Is there a gasket between the body and the plate?
btyme80 no there isn’t. I’ve seen some people put some RTV behind there. I wasn’t too concerned
Where did u find the factory harness with the 3 pin already with it
They did have them on the website for a little bit. They were out last I knew not sure when they are getting more
Thanks for this awesome step by step, should be getting mine next week!
Where can I get the plug n play harness?
The harnesses will be available again in the next week or so. It will be available on www.pandemic-usa.com or www.rockridge4wd.com
Damn you got some good audio.I heard a lawn mower and a train even over the back ground music...lol...
Dan Hambrick yeah in the garage it kinda picks up the sound really well. Rode video mic go. I love it. Thanks for watching
Nice job looks good. but no way is this kit worth the 285$ lights, metal bracket, resistors & screws. All can be purchased for under 75$ on eBay

Where can I get the easy wire harness from that u use in video
Paul Pecorella you can order them with the kit. It is one of the options when you order you can select the plug and play harness
The Bearded Jeeper does not let me choose if I want harness or not
Paul Pecorella that’s strange it should let me contact them and see if they don’t sell it anymore
The Bearded Jeeper let me know if u can find them
Paul Pecorella will do. I will let you know as soon as I get a response
Awesome video mate, they look so good, sometimes my wife comes in handy when working in my Jeep
