I heard the reverse light with these is worthless. Do you think a small 3/4 inch white led could fit into that bracket just below the tail light? You could then splice both into the tail light.
Yes they are worthless... lol 😂 I have thought about it. Someone else asked me the same thing. I would be afraid of cracking the plastic trying to drill it.

how are the lights holding up? do those 3 leds on the side make them road legal?
Not sure about street legal or not. I think 🤔 the indicators on the sides are there for looks. There are no lights on the side of the factory tail lights. I had the tail lights up until about 3 weeks ago. The main problem people have posted about them was a diod or Led going out weeks after install. I had them or a while and never had one problem. If your thinking about getting them for the backup light. Don’t get them. The back up light is awful and your factory light is brighter. I hope this helps.
How have those VroomTecs held up since you posted your video!! Ive read reviews on Amazon that some people’s LEDs are going out just after a couple weeks
So far so good no LED problems. The back up light deff. Isn’t useful at all. These are the same as all the other advertised tail lights that look like these.

In reality the stock Jeep tail lights are held on by 2 screws. My .02

Not sure if that is a resistor, More like an anti-flicker module.
I don’t think it’s a resistor myself. I think it’s like a heatsink on a control board but it has like the common wire going through it. Lol 😂 I’ll tell you what it deff. Is. A PAIN IN THE ASS TO INSTALL and put together with WITH FAT FINGERS.
That was a 50w led load resistor, it is what's needed to correct the rocket flash when adding LED turn signals
