Thanks for posting this. It brings back memories. I saw this production when I first visited London, in the spring of 1995. I remember that I couldn't get tickets to the revival of Oliver!, so I opted for this show. As I watched it, I was so happy that I couldn't see Oliver!, a play I knew so well, because I discovered this magnificent little musical. My favorite thing about it was Ruthie Henshall. She was perfect in the role. In the following years I have seen many actresses and singers do this song. None of them have done it as well as Ruthie.
