It was touted as one of the most talented drafts in recent memory. It was supposed to bring a blend of college superstars to the forefront.
We had the Duke powerhouse trio led by Zion Williamson, an electrifying young guard out of Murray State in Ja Morant, and plenty of other young stars in the making.
This draft night was filled with excitement, surprises, and moves that would shape the future of the NBA.
But fast forward to how this draft has panned out 5 years later… is it safe to say that this class has been underwhelming?
