- You wanted a tour of the kitchen, are you sure? This video is all about food… but not necessarily the aesthetic curation you were hoping for! This is real life out here in beautiful rural Scotland.
We are really trying hard to live closer to the land and yet… some days we just need a ‘safe meal.’ But- how cool is the store room I made? I’ll have to make a video showing you how I did that. Oh ya… and the mural video too.

Your channel popped up in my algorithm and I subscribed right away! My paternal grandparents were Scottish (with some Flemish/Scandinavian roots) and my mum also had a lot of Scottish ancestry. I have visited the west coast many times and hooked up with friends and family, and to pay respects to ancestors in their resting places, but on the east side of Scotland only as far as Edinburgh and just once - which must be rectified as ancestors are waiting there too! What a lovely vlog! Your house and garden are fabulous! ❤

I was expecting a video about the house as I was watching some old house videos, but what I discovered was so valuable to me. Thanks for introducing the concept of a safe meal to me. I had been struggling with cooking and making my self nutritious food because of my ADHD and this concept just gave me an a-ha moment and how I definitely need to pick some safe meals and stock up on these ingredients in the pantry and have it be my go to when I don't have the mental capacity to do anything. So thanks for sharing as this really felt like a warm hug.

I've just found your channel and it's wonderful. My son and I are autistic and are also moving to the Highlands for more peace and connection to nature. How are you finding that part of Scotland? I was guessing you're nearish to Inveraray from the video. We don't need to be close to lots of services but it's good to have a town centre within 30 mins. Is it very remote there? I visited Oban many years ago so know that part of the region reasonable well. I'm really enjoying seeing how you handle the day to day of being autistic and having autistic children.
Oh I’m so glad you’re here. We love this part of Scotland, we are about 35-40 minutes from a town centre, but that suits us. The kids love it as well and the schools here are much calmer than they were in our last place 🥰

@@LaureeStephens haha I just read my message back it looks like a lot of gobbley goop haha .glad you could understand it haha .my daughters just getting Iver breast cancer it's been so emotional.now I found your channel .I can get lost in watching this and no stress .they have got rid of the cancer she still got to go throu the radio phereapy.ishe was only 35.we was soooo shocked .but the nurses and every one was do beautifully caring. Thank y for all your hard work in makeing such lovely videos x

Your volume is so low, I can't hear you without straining and sitting extremely close to the computer. So much frustration, I may not try to listen to another one. Please correct this problem.
How strange? I’m 80% deaf with tinnitus and can hear it very well🤷♀️. Try some ear buds, that should help❤
No problem with audio as far as I am concerned, with or without buds.
I’ve sent the video to several people and no one seemed to have a problem. Let me know how the other videos sound.
