Great that the drains are being cleaned, I’m very glad you show the reactive and not proactive steps being taken by the authorities knowing the consequences of not maintaining the islands infrastructure. Next issue is all the pollution from the plastic waste and garbage that ended up in the drains. We need to clean up our beautiful little island and establish a healthy lifestyle for our citizens. 🙏

Not withstanding , those gullies should be kept clean on a regular basis. the community must be encouraged not to dump rubbish in the gullies, come on people, you all can do better. stay safe you all.

Let’s be thankful that they are cleaning the drain. Jamaica have got to do better with cleaning up your neighborhood. These debris don’t get discarded by themselves it’s accumulated. Y’all just throw trash everywhere. Be more active in maintaining your community.

Hey Oshane! even here in the states for some reason when a "Hurricane or storm" is on it's way that's when the DRAINS are cleaned ; I saw the video Pappy posted with that drain was overflowing, won't the Debree fall out of the truck without of the tail gate on when loading!!
Hurricane is moving westwards. Mo Bay is now enduring 114mph wind gusts which could increase. Central Jamaica is enduring 137mph wind gusts making this a current Cat 4 Hurricane.
I have watched too many videos of this sa😊 problem to keep quiet about it, my brother and sister we can’t keep throwing out trash any an anywhere like this, how in God haven so much bottle and trash ended up in the drain, do you know how much it’s costing or Government to clean up our mess we created, money that could have spent somewhere else” then we quick to curse out the government saying they are not doing anything to help, my God, do the numbers people, I have seen abandoned stoves, refrigerators, cars tires, bedding. We can’t keep doing this. Help our self so the government have money to help us 😮
That gully should be a priority 👌 to be clear and cleaned at all times of the year, especially the rainy seasons...

These nasty people living there and watching it overgrown... while dumping their garbage 🗑 into it ....then blame the government!!
