I dont care how much power a turbo motor can put out. Developing a sky high revving, ITB equipped, high strung N/A engine is an artform! Sounds glorious!
@@Rahu47-d5p I suggest you do a bit of research. The iteration of the Cosworth V12 powering the T50 S does have individual throttle bodies. The V12 in the road going T50 has 4 throttle bodies!
Well my next build(besides chassis swaping my restomod driveline out of my gto into something less valuable) is gonna be a 2 seater tribute to Gordon the f1. And some others. But also an attempt to make something crazier than this. Superlite slc base chassis. Like the mules gordan used for the f1. Carbon body work(i also live near one of the cheapest if not cheapest wind tunnels in the world for auto aero) tweaked a bit for aero. Suspension mods. Active dampers but used more like really fast 5 way dampers with more tuning range. Carbon rims. Bunch of weight reduction techniques. But also a comparable ridiculous drive train. But I wanted to go a bit Italian and French with it xD V8. Hotvee. Dohc. The k48 that dude is developing. Take the lancia delta s4. Twincharged k48. Hotvee and twincharging and working on exhaust back pressure vs intake pressure. Scavenging gonna be insane along with spool. Short stroked to 4.2L Honda reliability. Plus the block and some other stuff is improved. Ti rods. Nice piston designs. Vtec. Mated to the same gearbox as the Koenigsegg agera rs gryphon. Cima t1107m 7 speed sequential. You can retain a clutch pedal from my understanding. And run fully auto or fully manual or set up for clutchless use and flat foot shifting. Bosch motorspprt abs. Tc built into the ecu. E waste gates. Body wide body. Bigger tires. But should be sinilsr weight to the f1. But geared nicely but more visceral and usable. And another speed on top. With aero to support. And enough tire to handle. Extra width helps with load capacity. Gonna be heavier so I'll need more. But for street tires it'll help given ridiculous low weight with df. And on actual race tires be better as well. But using the active dampers to accommodate for the downforce. Set up to be like an analog car. But using some of the modern tech to over come issues. Pitot tubes and everything. Might be using some t50 ideas. Although I have a different idea that's a bit more basic for a fan car. But works similar way. Fans just increase the base ground effects and amplified stuff. Think ducting and fans and vents but controlled air floor to the brakes and stuff. Create front downforce with the front 2 and a smaller lip. And the back downforce with those 2 and other elements. Goal is daily mode of 700ish hp and 1200kg at most. Wet. But max hp tune of like 1800hp track mode with boost management to make it usable. But also the widest powerband I can. 2 cam profiles. Low rpm profile and high rpm profile. Not necessarily for economy driving. Think of it like widening the cam power windows. But goal is 11000rpm red line. But ls like torque maybe only ls3 like torque real low. But that American v8 like torque from low. Just using the boost system combined with an interchiller and the full dual intake to split up flow for velocity and other benefits. And by forced nature with the k48. Should be more reliable then alot of other high revving v8 options with the performance I want. And less work then an I6 even tho that was my initial choice unless I went v12 with a Toyota 1gz fe. Heavy. But could make it like a v12 version of a 1.5jz set up. And have loads of torque and easily 9k rpms done right.
Only on the Dyno. They use ceramic coatings and multiple layers of HEAT WRAP. Unless u have Xray eyes . U think this engine is nuts look up (iDing) tuner . Manufacturer's hired him 2 tune theeeeeeee original MC F1 ANNNDDDDDDDDDDD THE ENNNNNNZO.!!!!!!!!!!!!
The sound of a proper NA V12 around LeMans... My goodness! These, the LFA's V10 and the V10's from F1.... all are very very special and I love hearing all of them
I've not even started the video yet, but I know this will be one of the best videos I watch this year. Thanks for taking us along on this journey GMA folk, I realise the efforts made for this channel are not to sell your product as all are sold, so thank you for allowing us normal people who can't afford £5 million cars to be a part of it.
Herbert Von Karajan always compared the sound of a V12 to that of a symphony orchestra, and this is why. This V12, in particular, is a masterpiece that only Gordon and Cosworth could conceive. It is when faced with such a work of art that it is very sad to imagine a future of electric cars.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. These hyper exotics will be the only cars allowed to have ICE's. Common folk will be driving electric cars. So basically, only the privileged will drive ICE cars.
Truly a work of art. I'm fond of American muscle but I respect the hell out of cosworth going NA, the sound is one of a kind I could only imagine feeling that in person.
Might be the best sounding engine ever made. I like it over the LFA. I also love the sound of the 19000 rpm F1 Engines of the day, but this just sounds superb.
I was justing thinking “Wait until she gets onto the Mulsanne straight away! She’s going to sing like you’ve never heard her sing and all hell will break loose!” “At that point just hold on!” 🤙🏼
A slight collector re-shaping would bring the hot spot closer to the catalysator. A minor positive change for the torque production, a drastic change for the emission.
A precursor to a Le Mans entry, perhaps? I wonder what modifications to the T.50s would be needed to be compliant with entry requirements for the Hypercar class.
Does the engine dyno put the engine under dynamic load following the track simulation? Can it replicate the actual cars mass during acceleration and braking as it would be on the actual circuit?
I don't know. Driving a car with an NA engine like this would be very stressful. The constant high-rpm sound track might be appealing at first, but long term, not so much. I'd like to see Gordon explore the possibility of developing a turbocharged V12 with super engineered gas-dynamics and high resolution boost control. Imagine the mid-range of such a power plant. Coupled with the some clever exhaust noise tuning, it would have it's own appeal to a slightly different group of enthusiasts.
I dont care how much power a turbo motor can put out. Developing a sky high revving, ITB equipped, high strung N/A engine is an artform! Sounds glorious!
It doesn't have ITBs because it was hard to tune it only has 4 throttle bodies........

I am so proud to be a member of the cosworth team in northampton 👏👏👏 well done to everyone involved #historyinthemaking ❤❤❤
Thank you for making one of the greatest combustion engines ever
I'm proud of you mate.. well done to you and the boys!
Thank you for creating this masterpiece dude! what a machine!
Perfect. No ‘music’, no yakking. Great, inspiring work.
Exactly, no stupid popping or banging..
I agree
Seeing the manifold glowing in the dark is something.
Seeing it glow in the light is also something!

@@DaVe-iSnOtHoMe.MaN.LemmingsWeB this engine is definitely better
Seeing behind the map, also something!
It sounds better than modern Formula 1 cars too.

Sounds so much more raw and aggressive than it’s road-going cousin! Absolutely love it!
It is extremely eager to rev
This is pure heaven this is one V12 that demands to be heard!
Thank you so much for letting the engine speak and sing without the interference of a human noise hole. Wonderful.

Reporting back after 5 minutes. Yeah, holy shit. Listen with a decent pair of headphones my fellow enthusiasts. It is rather incredible.

This engine is a masterpiece.
This is mental! Can't wait for the final exhaust sound when the two pipes are beside each other!
I want this played at my funeral
Love to see some onboard of this t50s around Spa , Silverstone , Suzuka etc ...
I second that
This sounds so much better than modern Formula 1 cars. Incredible noise!
F1 now is junk
Cosworth and Gordon Murray continue to set the bar at the highest level!
Incredible sound
The sound, and that its essentially running a lap on its Dyno run, and seeing the manifold glow. To me, this is ASMR
Truly a work of art. I'm fond of American muscle but I respect the hell out of cosworth going NA, the sound is one of a kind I could only imagine feeling that in person.
Insane pickup. Close your eyes and you can picture it! Can't wait to see the car in action....
COSWORTH and GMA you can't go wrong 🇬🇧
THAT, my friends, is called a symphony!! I pray that the T.50s can race at LM soon.
Quite possibly the best commentary of any video on TH-cam! 😉😂
Less 'chat', more 'FULL CHAT!'
An automotive symphony the sound that Cosworth V12 makes!
OMG, that should be age-restricted and not on TH-cam! Too exciting.
Its not just an engine, its a symphony!!!!!!!
Music to my ears.
And that glowing red exhaust !!!!!!.
Awesome 👏👏👏👏👏🇦🇺
Hold my tiers... Emotional damage. Bravo.
These are the only videos on TH-cam I watch in normal speed. 12k rpms will do that!
As a life long automotive enthusiast I don't think I've ever been so excited about a car....I think t50s even tops 787b for me.
A great video, I remember when Dario asked the engineer can we see it go to 12,000, this was the soundtrack, epic.
Such a work of art 👌 but isn't the first straight called "Hunaudières"? The Mulsanne straight is at the end of Hunaudières, if I'm not wrong
Might be the best sounding engine ever made. I like it over the LFA. I also love the sound of the 19000 rpm F1 Engines of the day, but this just sounds superb.
Awesome and sweet harmonic V12 sounds!
Cara o TH-cam nem me avisou!!! Que surpresa ver essa obra de arte do nada
Simply Glorious. ❤
Listening to the sound, especially with headphones on, actually makes me want to see a GMA T.50 LMH in action.
What a truly beautiful soundtrack.
Wow,such sweet music. I love this
Engine speaks for itself, I like this
This is audio heaven!
I've never heard anything that sounded so good
I really wish gordon could enter this into Le Mans again and with outright
J.S.Bach would definitely approve.
A V12 symphony!
Fantastic....can't wait for some videos on that t33...
Great job! Great editing, and the sound work was out of this world! So evocative. Thank you!
I have goosebumps on my arms as this reminds me way back of watching Climb Dance for the first time. Wow wow wow 👍❤️
This is pure art, always and forever.
Well this was EPIC!
Fantastic test cycle!
Heavenly heavenly heavenly,
Mega. Glorious sound and Gordon happy to help Dario if you need somebody for the Nordschleife😊
All rise for the anthem of the automobile.
sounds like a 90’s Ferrari F1 V12!! GM does it again
Stradivarius!🎻
one word "WOW" 👋
You can almost hear it bending the space time continuum when flat out down the straights. Magnificent design, well done Cosworth and GMA.
This is Nobel price on that one. Damn i miss the real sound of F1.
This is a genuine 05:11 song, it should be on spotify
I was justing thinking “Wait until she gets onto the Mulsanne straight away! She’s going to sing like you’ve never heard her sing and all hell will break loose!” “At that point just hold on!” 🤙🏼
От начала и до конца 💪🔥
4:27 around Le Mans. Nice!
Boy oh boy give it to a driver for the goodwill festival 🙌🙌🙌.would love to hear it
Glorious, although funny to see how slow that lap is compared to even a GTE racecar.
Amazing display of over 660hp!!!
Insane sounds!!
Wowza ❤🎉
What an incredibly lovely thing.
My New favorit engine's Symphony...❤, after the 1LR-GUE and the S70/2...😊
2:06 Manifold looks like candy, good enough to lick.
A slight collector re-shaping would bring the hot spot closer to the catalysator. A minor positive change for the torque production, a drastic change for the emission.
There is no catalyst. This is a straight piped race engine
Love this V12.
oh man, i really do wish i get to experience this in person someday. 24hour running video coming soon :) ?
A precursor to a Le Mans entry, perhaps? I wonder what modifications to the T.50s would be needed to be compliant with entry requirements for the Hypercar class.
An extra 300 kg ballast
I'm impressed. Sounds almost as good as mine. . . almost
This will make a great ringtone😂😂😂
So when is it being uploaded to Spotify?
Music to my ears
Take it to Le Mans :)
Too light for LeMans
If the straight was the old straight and the car was pinging off the rev limited in last gear. Heaven
Thank you
nice music to my ears
Incredible 😍
This sound really needs a fast sequential gearbox
The world is not ready for such a machine 😭
It will have it. The real XTRAC gearbox is instant like F1
Does the engine dyno put the engine under dynamic load following the track simulation? Can it replicate the actual cars mass during acceleration and braking as it would be on the actual circuit?
Place take your car to le mans this year 😭🙏
Pure music
I dream of a V6 version of this and of putting in an FWD car.
Sweet songbird
Vrooooooooooooom! 🤗❤

POV : Music of the new century!
That engine needs to be back in F1!!!
Headphones !!! what a mechanical symphony that is. Helpmaboab ;-)
How big would it be for the brand to bring a car to Le Mans?
Amazing is all I can say. Wow :) :) :) :)
Perfect.
