Led zeppelin at its peak !!! Recorded in April 71, this version of Whole Lotta Love; includes Boogie Woogie/Truckin'Little Mama/ Fixin'toDie/ That's Alright/ For What It's Worth/Mess o'Blues/Honey bee/The Lemon song. Great!!!! Led Zeppelin live were truely wild!
Such a raw sound but perfection. Planty at his peak vocally. They sound as if they've just walked in off the street having never played together and have produced this magical sound. Never will be another band as great as Led Zeppelin.
Wow! An amazing song by Led Zeppelin their emblematic songs, I don't know what to decide which song is the best because they're all excellent, but my favourite is Whole lotta love and also Stairway to heaven, this one is awesome and one of their best songs no doubt, a night rock of excellent quality, thanks, Rory🤘🔥🎸🤗
ROBERT PLANT AND EDDIE VEDDER MY FAVORITE FRONTMEN!! I HAD EVERY SINGLE LED ZEPPELIN ALBUM. I'D COME HOME FROM HIGHSCHOOL LAY ON MY BED PUT ON HEADPHONES AND MIGHT EVEN SMOKE A LITTLE WEED AND OFF TO NEVER EVER LAND. HIGHSCHOOL WAS DEFINITELY ROUGH AND ZEPPELIN AND PINK FLOYD WOULD BRING IT BACK HOME!! THAT WAS AMAZING!! BOOGIE WOOGIE!!! BEAUTIFUL!! BRAVOOOO!! AWESOME REACTION RORY 💙 AND THANK MYSTERY PERSON FOR THIS AWESOME REQUEST!! THE ULTIMATE BLUES 💙💙💙💙💙 I LOVE NO QUARTER IS INCREDIBLE!!
That photograph was made Steve Steigman, who shot it for Maxell cassette tapes. Made him a fortune when he decided to make a poster of that ad image. It ended up in every dorm room in America in the 70s.
Funny you should mention mini discs as a reference to the olden days, given how that image was an advertisement for cassette tapes! Used to be that we thought vinyl was quintessentially a thing of the past too - but that doesn't work anymore. Over the past couple of years I've amassed a collection old and new vinyl. I play these albums on a new turntable connected to decades-old, analog pre-amp and amps, bought second-hand to hear the music the way it deserves to be played!
all the time jimmy and robert are off playing among the stars, check out that fucking FILTHY groove that bonham and jonesy are laying down! i could listen to those 2 alone for hours, zeppelin were simply untouchable live

haha didn't know that! Good decision! I remember Berke Breathed imaged-checked it in a panel of his early 80's cartoon strip "Bloom County"!
This set was played at all their concerts at this time. Except twice as raunchy and heavy. His voice was pristine.
Zeps BBC sessions are the best
THAT is an incredible medley !! They were kinda jamming ✨⚡️ Thanks Rory 😘
Sooo amazing!!!
I had that Poster on my wall...Then it found it's way on to the cover of my first big Art School folder when I was about 18.
