- What’s up guys!!! Here with a first impression look at the Pentax 645 FILM CAMERA. In this video I’ll making street photos and portraits on film. My film of choice was Kodak portra 400. I’m excited to share my experience with this 645 medium format camera. This is now by far my favorite medium format 645 camera.

Great video. I just got this camera and have shot a couple rolls but don’t have my scans back yet. I LOVE the camera so far, but the weird strap lugs drive me crazy. That’s really smart the way you used the side tripod mount to hold a strap... I wish I had thought of that sooner!

Hey brother, sorry I don't really remember. The camera was my friends but I'd assume it was around 75mm. Not sure but maybe try searching up all the lenses available and try to to cross reference. The sizes are quite different so it should help a bit. sorry man!
Personally I use a RB67 as well and I no longer see the point in having a 645 camera, sure you get more shots but if that's the only reason you want the camera then why not just shoot 35mm. I know a lot of people complain about the RB67 and I will say its not very ergonomic but I think with a little arm strength its not that bad to carry around. Good Video
Which lens did u use?
I‘m wondering why youre thinking the Pentax has much better ergonomics than a Mamiya 645 and is better over all? My Mamiya 645 Pro has a grip as well, my prism has a meter and it‘s almost the same weight. Don‘t get the point. But great video :) your content is awesome
Hollywood Heiner - hey man!! Thanks for the support and comment man! The reason I think it’s better is only because it’s easier to shoot with. There are a lot more variables that make the the Mamiya better.. or the Pentax better. It all comes down to preference and what makes you want to shoot more. 😁🙏🏿
