@@christinandfilm7657 It's definitely a beast of a camera. I think the magic of that 105mm, also, is when you step back and get the full body shots (like the examples in the video I did). It really shows this ethereal type of background separation. With the way you pose your subjects, I think you'd make some amazing environmental portraits with that lens.
Great work. I'm about to purchase this camera and I'm happy to see a video of how awesome that lens renders images. There are a lot of people out there who are all-in on the Contax 645 but I just can't justify or afford spending that much! You're doing good work, keep it up! I dig your vibe.
Thank you Brian, I agree with you the Contax 645 is a good beast but I've heard so many negatives about the camera not being 100 reliable, honestly, this one is enough for me,. If you want that bokeh go ahead and get the 105mm from Pentax 67.. but honestly beside bokeh, the sharpness still the same.
@@christinandfilm7657 Oh, I'm so sorry, yes, that is what I meant, I should have phrased the question differently :) I've just bought this same camera (I'm waiting for it to arrive in the post this week!), so I was curious to know if its going to need a lot of batteries. Thank you for sharing your video, I enjoyed watching it, and seeing the results of the film you shot :)

The russians, and you above all, did a good job!! Nice pics....
Thank you :)
Oh, do you find it eats through the batteries?
Hey Zoe I don't understand your question. Yes some battery especially alkaline are not long lasting with this system
