I drove an M with a M&W clutch for many years on the farm as a lad. Great old American Iron that would run forever. Thanks for the video. Great set up you have.
Man what a great video! I learned a few things besides watching a great old tractor working in the dirt. It's good to know that a larger cylinder helps with the lower psi, and also I came to the conclusion that the farmall pumps work as long as the clutch is out. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to the next ones.

Heya :) Here from JoyFolds... Yeah, we got hammered with rain, yesterday, up here in the PNW. We rarely get flooding, but it happened yesterday. I posted a 20 second video, showing a water fall of rain coming down the hill, flooding the road... CRAZY! Ooh, that’s a MONSTER, man! Imagining the hundreds of hours of back breaking physical labor being saved lol 😇👍🏻
Hi Farmall, that should be a great help to anyone, rain did you say rain? lucky you! all nice and green, Spring looks great down your way, thank you for sharing, would love to have a little tractor down my block.. did you mentioned it is an old boy from the 40th i probably misunderstood.... does a great job for sure, .cheers

Ain't nothing wrong with using old iron, you gotta remember these tractors fed America, back in the day the Farmall m was the largest tractor in the market for a few years
I watched until the end! I gravitate toward farming vids and such. I love tractors! I used to live by farm land and when those tractors were in the field till late at night it was so comforting to me for some reason. This tractor purs like a kitten! Big like👍
Nice tractor and disc. Practically grew up on that exact same combination!!! Dad had a 370 disc too, his had a lift assist spring and cable that is missing on this one. If the spring ever broke it was a job for the M to lift it.
The old M sounds good dragging that disc. Especially after you dropped down into 3rd gear. The old girl was sounding a little labored trying to run in 4th. The disc was doing a pretty good job working up the ground. Thanks for the ride along. Stay safe.
Glad you switched to 3rd gear...4th seemed to be pulling it hard. We always plowed in 2nd with a 3-14" and disced in 3rd gear with a 10' disc, sometime with a roller behind it. M's are great tractors!

That's a very nice M sir! How can anyone not love an M Farmall, because that is THE classic tractor to have! That new hydraulic cylinder came from Tractor Supply right! I could tell by the County Line brand lol! That's usually where I get a lot of my tractor parts from.
I was 15, ran neighbor's 1944 M with M&W Super kit in it. Weights plus fluid in tires and duals pulled a 10 KBA Deere disc. All it really wanted in NWMo river bottoms.
@@DadRandom I was surprised at how the M pulled too. My Pap Paw had an M gas and a JD 70 diesel. I think they pulled a 4 row disc.
