Yeah, that little Genius can really turn the dirt over, nice and neat ! Like you say, designed to work perfectly behind an H , but that A handled it surprisingly well ! Started right up , like a farmall always does ! That step is a very useful addition !
Excellent video Gino :) also like step add on 1947 FARMALL A tractor also plow putting on test and doing job 👍 Boom with Red Power yes ! Also remember years ago my late Dad & Uncle they had 1950 Cockshutt COOP 40 gas tractor pulling McCormick International 10 seed drill , 1963 McCormick International B414 Loader tractor Desiel 40 with 2 row 171 McCormick International seed drill and both did 1500 acres but 1980's drop to 850 acres farm land to and 1990's 450 acres ! Said I seen 4 row planter in good condition and prices pick up ! So did in 1992 found one and brought home told my dad also uncle check in machinery shed big new one ! Funny did ask ho much coin $ and said no way till show receipt of sale ! Said did excellent on buy !
That farmall A has a lot of pull to it. I mean, you got loaded back tires wheel weights and that, and that says a lot about that farmall A and the horsepower out of that four cylinder engine, and the plow was pulling perfectly in that furrow and also I appreciate these videos about red power and people think that those farmall A tractor doesn't have that much horsepower it will surprise you on a farmall A
Nice little compressor that 💪 and asfor the A she pulled that plough with some in reserve 💪💪 engine exhaust note was music working well and not overworked 👌 great video showing of Red Power 💥💪👍
Just wanted to say looking to see you Saturday at the Mercer County Antique pPower Association plow days at the Alexander farm! And this year instead of being on a John Deere 1020 I will be on Cecil my 1951 Farmall C All shined up and ready to go!
That A did a great job!, it really got its test on the right side of the field where you were plowing at least 8” deep, you could hear that engine firing clean under that load! We used to have a Massey Harris Mustang and the 2 bottom plow was all it could handle and then some…lol
That little A pulls that pretty dang good . I like the step that will make it easier to get on .That's one of the nicer air pumps like that I have seen . Thanks for sharing !
Hey Farmall fanatic. Jeff here from South Georgia. I like your channel and the nice collection of antique red power. im currently restoring my Pa's 53' super A. was inspiring to see you pulling the 2 bottom with your A! I have an old 2 disc new ground plow that I hope to try out when I get the Super A restoration finished. I did a 3.250 sleeve and piston kit. should be about a C133 now. It was the most readily available engine kit. The later model blocks were suited for a 3.125 bore so I should be ok. She runs great! Thanks for the videos I'll be watching.....
I think the later blocks would accept the 3 1/8" bore sleeves. I wonder if this one has been upped to being a 123 instead of a 113. Either way she seems to punch above her weight.
my good friend take the grill off the front and paint it white as that's a classic Farmall as treat it as such love the channel and keep'em coming my friend
UPDATE: I have ordered the step from Shawn🎉 Thanks FF, been looking for a good step since getting my Super A June 2021💥 I'm going to have to get one of those steps for my Super A 💥💥 Bonus on the refreshment holder😎💪💪 Good luck with the VEVOR, Another YT tool guy just did a who are they last week, not a good history with public information he dug up😮
Man putting the a through its paces she sounds great I remember plowing my dad's 20 acres with my super c with a 2 bottom plow I believe it was a ih not sure what model it was. But it was really fun
The step looks great on the A. You must have easy pulling soil, because the A sure handles it well. They normally pulled one 16" bottom so you're pulling twice as much plow. This soil here, it's too much to ask for the A. But the plus side to this clay soil is we don't have to grease the bottoms. With rusty bottoms, just plow 20' and you can see yourself on them. Once you get the wheels adjusted on the Super C, it will make a huge difference on the performance.
Hello looks great turns very good. But I think tractor is to light. If for some reason that plow was hung up it would flip the tractor faster than you can react. Just a thought have a good day.
I'm well below the axles... Light tractors flipping had to do with people pulling loads above the axle level ..and it would flip them quicker than you know what... I will have a swinging draw bar on it and at that point. I will be pulling from the anchor which is about dead center of the tractor you're not flipping that..
What happened to all that rust sure looks like they polished up pretty fast 👌😁 Sure liked that step I should make or buy some for my B's and Cubs like the looks of that step better than one's that hand from the brake rod. You will get alot of use out of the air compressor I picked up one very similar from Harbor Freight works great very useful
Seems to be adjusted fairly shallow for 16" bottoms. Not a terrible thing, it is a bit easier on the tractor as long as you don't want the depth afforded by the bottom and it's still laying over nice. BTW Those shares are in really good shape, which bottoms are those? I have a Plowchief bottom but new shares haven't been availible since crescent forge closed up. I also can't find any Superchief bottoms or frogs either (just not a lot of farm equipment in general around my region) so upgrading is mostly out.
I had my BN at a tractor show a few years back with one of those plows behind it. An older man asked why I had that behind it. The tractor couldn't actually plow with it. 😅
Are you sure that someone hasn't swapped that engine??? I had an A that was weaker than water. The super A would run circles around the A. Now have a 140 that I love
Heck yeah those old pieces of equipment were done right. Their survival depended on it. That and HARD work. Then bust your kids backside if they didn't mind or get their chores done. Imagine this generation back then. That's why I believe in those 6 volt systems. They were done right. Just have to understand them.
The step looks good. That's nice he sent a flask😮. No drinking and driving😅
Whats wrong with a few crooked rows 😂
Nice step! That air compressor actually looks well built. The A did good!!
It's now an annual thing lol
Love that dude's channel. I knew that step would need adjusting for the forward drawbar! That thing is the exact right width.
Yeah it is
Thanks brother!
The step is a nice addition to the Super A , looks to be a handy air compressor. Those small horse power Farmall’s 🇺🇸 never cease to amaze
This is just a regular A...Super A one day lol
It's about time you got to work Junior
Burp
That was awesome. That old equipment was really doing great. Scoured up nice too. I could watch that all day long and the sound was great.

He was in the ground 2 inches......
@@Chrisfarmall Aw, C'mon, you know it was a lot further than that !
...........
Great video as always! I really like the step…I should get one ordered and then get an A to put it on 😀
Sounds like a plan! 😊
Lol
That's a nice addition step and it does a nice job pulling 2 bttm plow.

Step is a must
Those little tractors have guts. Anyone ever watch The Patriot Farmer he farms with older IH's great content
Yep
That rolls that ground over nicely! 💪
Yeah i'm impressed
We use to have a fleet of Super A’s! Used em for cultivating produce! Ahh unwrapping Christmas huh! Best tractor channel on the net!

What plow will you be pulling?
It is an international mounted plow that midmount plow pulls from underneath the torque tube. Going to be a double 12

It definitely surprises me every time I use it

Those little genius broke that ground up very nicely gotta love Farmall red power
For sure

Cool video. I have a Little Genius plow, but it's just a lawn ornament with flowers around. Nice to see one working.
2 bottom?
@@FarmallFanatic yep
I just rewatched the video from last year of the A pulling the 2 bottom this morning. Very impressive, seems to handle it pretty decent.
The 16” rolls the sod over nicely. Good job.
What a hoss! She did great with that plow.
Nice. The A is neck and neck with M. It was amazing when it pulled the two dead trees.
I sure like the look of that little tractor.👍👍
I had to have it when I saw it
Nice steady job. Great work. All the best 🇬🇧.
Nice air c , tractor runs like a new machine.
The A did a great job of the ground for sure.
I bought a pto drive line for my bush hog and an electric hammer from Vevor. Super happy with both.
I think the later blocks would accept the 3 1/8" bore sleeves. I wonder if this one has been upped to being a 123 instead of a 113. Either way she seems to punch above her weight.
Honestly I wouldn't doubt it the guy before me used to pull
Nice looking combo there Red power. Spring is late here. The ground is still cold
my good friend take the grill off the front and paint it white as that's a classic Farmall as treat it as such love the channel and keep'em coming my friend
I know many that have
Man that's impressive!
Does well
Awesome plow buddy
I see you got a nice crop of dandelions going there
You mean I did have
Fun fun fun turning dirt. Love it.
I also had a 1940 "A" with noise in gears and I put the 140 wt oil and it worked great and the noise went away. Thanks for the further info
Thanks for watching
There is a good smell of freshly plowed ground, you just have to experience it,it's been too long for me
Yep
That flask will hold 1/2 pint of Green John Deere tears.
LOL you know it!
😆

A Red Power 💪🏼❤️ to start my day.
Nice Video. I didn’t understand what was the problem going to be with rust on the plow. Mine have rust on them.
Start a youtube channel and you'll find out l o l

The Amish pretty much buy up all the steel wheel implements in my area. You must have slipped one over on them to get that plow.
Yea bought it off an English dude lol
Nice portable air compressor 😊
I used it today to blow up the four hundred steer tire

hey what kind of starter rod does your a have. im restoring and its missing the starter cranking rod. thanks for your videos. your a is nice!
It's the push in type

Toward the end of the video I made adjustments and did go deeper. I was probably plowing seven inch at the end
Could be me, but is the front RH wheel a wobbling?
Yeah it has a little wobble to it... There's a bolt at the top of the spindle..it just needs tightened
NICE!
Where can I get a step like that
The sticker I showed at the beginning of the video is the TH-cam video
I had my BN at a tractor show a few years back with one of those plows behind it. An older man asked why I had that behind it. The tractor couldn't actually plow with it. 😅
I would have told him no correction sir...YOU couldn't plow with it
The Super A did great
...two 16's....thats alot but it handled it! I was hoping to see the exhaust lift on that A ...
I can try three bottoms and it might l o l
Hows the ateering worm gear on the A?
Decent
Are you sure that someone hasn't swapped that engine??? I had an A that was weaker than water. The super A would run circles around the A. Now have a 140 that I love
I am absolutely positive... Yours probably needs an overhaul

Yep
At 11:37, were you saying Farmall Eh? or Farmall A?😂😅
Eh? 😆
Question which rear tire pulls better
Well I hope the right one because that's the one that's down in the furrow
What is the advantage of a swinging drawbar vs not?
The swinging draw bar allows you to pull from underneath the tractor...safety
So heavier oil and a new mag will quiet the rear end noise…. Good to know
I never said a new mag will quiet the rear end
Where can you buy that compressor and how much does it cost?
Click the link in the description below the video. You can order there
Thank you, I appreciate it .
Thank you
You add the front wheel weights you'll be set.
Definitely
Just given er !!!!
It was not turning over Shiney but plenty wet.
Sad part is it’s made in China instead of at home
if i hit the lotto i'm buying the a farm
Heck yea
Put some makers mark in the flask
And watch you drink it at a high school football game 😆
Drop that plow down to 8-10 inches and see how she goes.
Who needs an H when the A has what it takes?
At least this A lol
If you were plowing you'd need an H but you're just scrapping very shallow
I see you didn't watch til after I made the adjustments
Get an M and put it in the ground
I have before
