I have the same pen in broad. It’s currently inked with a wine red/berry color. I love too how there are so many colors to match either an ink. I haven’t thought of Ku Jaku and that’s a great idea. Akkerman Deep Water Blue looks good with it too. 😊
I’m excited about the ink opportunities with this gorgeous pen. I regret waiting so long to share and experience its beauty. For the deep blue color I am thinking about Diamine Oxford Blue, but due to my delay in updating my Colo-Dex cards, I didn’t have the sample readily available. My bad. The Broad nib must be thrilling when using those gorgeous inks! Let us enjoy our Botanical Gardens together!
Marcy, I only have two Esterbrook pens; a Northern Lights and the Nebulous Plume but this Botanical Garden keeps drawing my attention. It's one of those pens that I have to see on a video because photos don't do it justice. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Oh you are so welcome. It took me awhile to purchase this model, but I’m so glad I did! It is even more beautiful in my hand than what the video displays because of the depth of colors, known as chatoyance. Thank you for enjoying along with me!
Wow! That is a gorgeous pen. When I saw this on the brand's website it didn't look that great, but seeing it in your video it is really beautiful. I love the flex nibs too! I would love to see a comparison video of the various Estherbrook nibs sometime. BTW, Kujaku means peacock blue!
Oh wow! I was so frustrated because I couldn’t get all the beauty to show on camera. I will do a comparison video of the Esterbrook nibs that I have. Thank you for the meaning translation. I appreciate you!
@@MarcellHobbs I agree with others that mentioned that YOUR video really brought out the colors, more so than the pictures on the websites, there is no comparison. Hopefully I can hang on until pen day.
@tbayless8324 Oh thank you for letting me know. I was fretting about not doing the pen’s beauty justice. I did post a pic on IG of it with the background of Galen Leather undyed.
That looked like a good combo! 🙂 I have my first Estie with a M nib, but haven't inked it up yet. Not quite satisfied with the colours (Aqua Special Edition), but the grip is good. Would like to try a Flex Fine or a Journaler nib but they seem to get sold out as soon as they get them back in stock. 😇🩷🙏🙌
I do have a journaler nib. I try to get a variety of pen color, metal color, and nib sizes. I’ve been thinking about a pen maker inventory to explore and compare nib sizes.

Congratulation, it is beautiful ! I have 2 Estie and I love both of them: an Oversize Honeycomb and a regular Nouveau Bleu
Oooo, I don’t have either of those models, but I’ve seen pics. Absolutely beautiful!

That matches you.
I’m really enjoying it!

That sounds great! Hopefully we'll see it soon then. 😇🩷🙏🙌
