Ooh.. dream pen! Yellow is my favourite colour, and I love the Estie. I hope this means Esterbrook considers another yellow Estie at some point. Thanks for sharing!
It was so hard to choose between this one and gray one; I ended up going with the gray one, but omg..you flipping through the inks... so many great matches!
Oooo the gray was also very irresistible. I sat and stared at both pens for so long before making my decision. I almost bought both because I couldn't decide. Now that I see it in person, I'm very happy that I chose this one.
What a lovely pen ❤ I don't like yellow, but the milky softness of this pen won me over 🥴 As was already said, who knew so many colours go with yellow! CONGRATULATIONS Kristen 🌻🌻🌻
1. Yes it is! 2. The Journaler nib is a custom grind from Gena Salorino (Custom Nib Studio). According to the Custom Nib Studio website: "The Journaler is a grind I developed for Esterbrook inspired by one of their vintage nibs. A medium nib is ground to a smooth, stubby italic. The idea is that the grind will add a little flair to your writing while being friendly enough for daily use." It is quite pleasant to use, and the flair is subtle but noticeable.
Thanks for watching! This pen is no longer available on Esterbrook's website. I revisited their IG page, and it seems that they had less than 20 of each color (the yellow and the gray). The pens sold out back in March.
Howwww do you have all of this knowledge about vintage pens and limited runs and prototypes etc? It is crazy. I learn so much here from your videos! That yellow is lovely. Something about the visual texture of the pen makes me feel weird, like it's too slick looking? Like an egg yolk. I'm a very tactile person, that's the first thing I notice lol
According to Esterbrook, this was a vintage inspired color. I learned about this one through friends who shared Esterbrook's Instagram announcement with me LOL! The color does make it look slick, but this pen feels exactly the same as my Lilac Estie…if that helps at all. Thanks for watching!
LOL stay strong! This is a lovely pen and I'm glad that I have it, but if you want to stick to your vow, there is still plenty to enjoy under $30. Thanks for watching!
Who knew that yellow could be so versatile?
Right?!? I was shocked by the number of matches I found!

It would be so nice to see more yellow pens for sale. Thanks for watching!
So many inky possibilities 🌈 enjoy!

Wow! I am surprised how many colors I liked with that pen. Great choice.
You and me both!
New pen put new ink. The browns or greens & yellow pen looks nice. That's fun! 🧡
Thank you!

It took me awhile to get into them, but they've been pushing my buttons lately LOL
1. That's a nice yellow.
2. What is a "journaler's" nib?

Well shoot. I never wanted a yellow pen till now.
LOL! It's a great yellow, so I understand.
0:07 Hee hee. Watching you try to open that outer box, I thought, "So she probably bought that pen from Goldspot." 😏
LOL I guess you've had some difficulties with Goldspot boxes.
is this available.... please share, do tell...

Also, the number of times I've seen you stop and mention Ginger Chicken... I might have to grab a sample just to see what you're so hype about ❤

You’re killing me with Esterbrook (says the same woman who vowed to never spend more than $30 on a pen).

I think people would have bought this pen.
They certainly sold out of their limited stock within a few hours.
Nice review, a bit too much time showing different ink swatches, Would like to have seen a writing sample.
Noted, I just couldn’t help noticing that this pen matched with almost every color! Writing sample coming up in my April currently inked video.
@@lifeinspiresdesign Thanks, looking forward to it. That yellow color is amazing
