Great reaction! And please ignore those who take weird pleasure in questioning how you could never have heard of him! Around the world, we come from many different backgrounds and cultures - not everyone knows even the most popular singers, groups, or songs. And it doesn’t matter! It’s your openess and appreciation of this which is so beautiful to see! Also, truly informed people understand there are these differences across the globe, and that they themselves may not be aware of singers/entertainers in other parts of the world who are mega stars with name recognition of a billion+.
So again, thanks for sharing with us your wonderful first-time reaction to the great Pavarotti!

Luciano Pavarotti is one of my absolute favorite opera maestros. His powerful tenor voice can move the soul and give you both chills and goosebumps. I love a lot of modern music, but there's just something about opera that can move the soul.

Thank you so, so much, dear Ovuada ❤😊 for kindly sharing your love emotions and sweet thoughts about our unforgettable Big Luciano 🙂 ...
I'm Italian, Ovuada, from a small town just 12 miles from Venice 🙂 ... as Italian I'm well used to listen to operas and among our most representative opera composers I particularly love Giacomo Puccini, who composed "Turandot", the opera from which this legendary aria "Nessun dorma" comes ...
I'm deeply touched by your emotions, I can feel your sincere desire to catch the sublime beauty inside the voice, inside the melody ...
I think, you should come to Italy, my dear friend 🙂😇 ... Maestro Giacomo Puccini was born in Tuscany (Florence is the capital town of Tuscany), really a magical place among all Italian regions ... if you could, for instance, have the opportunity to see not only the countless artistic masterpieces you can find only there, but also the pure beauty of the nature, the magic of a sunset on the sweet land fields of Tuscany, the gentle scent of flowers and trees ... I think, you would understand still better where such an awesome melody comes from and why it has the unbelievable power to move anyone to tears ...
And exactly all that is "real Italy", I can assure you ... "real Italians", like Maestro Giacomo Puccini, Luciano Pavarotti and many others, were and are all people of sincerity, honesty, love and passion ... and just to be clear, real Italians don't even want to hear about mafia or anything dirty and shameful like that ...
Come to Italy, dear friend 😊❤ ... we have a lot of love and sincere hugs to share with you 😊😇❤ ...

Pavarotti is the only male singer that can bring legitimate tears to an entire audience. The look on your face was precious and priceless.I hope you get the chance to hear more of him. By the way, love the eye makeup. Beautiful, like you.

I met him. My aunt was a huge opera fan and patron of the Met, she took me and we went back stage. He couldn't have been nicer. And my god what a talent!

Ovuada you're a beauty and I so appreciate your realness!
I saw this performance for the first time tonight and was moved to tears. This man channeled divine spirit and it was written upon his face and in his voice. I found myself watching reaction videos to see if anyone else could see how amazing this was and especially to see if someone would comment on his face. I watched over a dozen reactions, most people were too busy contriving a reaction to really appreciate his performance and hardly anyone actually looked at him while he went through these incredible emotions. Only when I got to your video did I see someone with the emotional intelligence and sincerity to be as moved as you genuinely were. I'm glad there's someone else out there to share the experience with. Thank you

This performance still brings a tear to my eye, and I've watched a lot of reactions. I remember watching it when it was first broadcast and being stunned, and that moment made me not hate opera.

Pavarotti had a rare voice that was able to touch and express itself without need for lyrical understanding. Lisa Gerrard is also one of those singer...it's rare and it's timeless.
The man has been dead for decades, and by my book one of the most important tenors of our time.
