Italy revers Luciano Pavarotti as the master tenor. He got to this plateau by years of hard work combined with an otherworldly talent. When Pavarotti started to sing it is like being transported into an ethereal realm, which some people would describe as the realm of angels. Pavarotti concentration was one of pure concentration and vocal projection that fills the auditorium. In response the audience roared its approval as they heard the man give all his heart and soul to sing this powerful opera masterpiece. Very good reaction Bisscute as you just stepped out of the way and kept your comments few as a layperson that wanted to learn more about from this tenor powerful singing.
What a wonderful singer and it brings back memories for me as 'Nessun Dorma' was used for the 1990 World Cup in Italy, a time of ecstasy and agony for an England fan! ( It was the first world cup I really remembered, being 12 at the time). On a weird segue, a music shop once sold the 'Three Tenors in Concert' album with the line 'three tenors for a fiver!'............I'll get my coat🙁

I'm a huge music fan, played classical piano and cello when I was younger before eventually picking up a guitar, and Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma is one of the few pieces of music that, no matter how many times i've head it in my near-40 years, it always brings a tear to my eye. I don't know why, but it just does. Another one is Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe singing Barcelona. I discovered this song as a child, from playing classical music in orchestra but also from my Grandmother who was a huge fan of Pavarotti and saw him live in concert in Rome, if I remember correctly

Hello Bisscute, first of all, I want to express my respect and admiration for your courage and courage to react to an opera work and an artist like Pavarotti, since not many dare to do so. Your reaction seemed extraordinary to me, you would have seen your face and your gaze with a spark of charm before the virtuosity of Luciano Pavarotti and the beautiful music that accompanied it. Pavarotti's performance of "Nessun Dorma" is one of the most iconic and recognized in the world of opera. It is an aria from the final act of the opera Turandot by Giacomo Puccini, and Pavarotti immortalized it with his powerful and emotional interpretation, with absolute mastery of his breathing and voice projection in a masterful way. As you could see, the high notes, such as the famous "Vincerò" at the end of the aria, are executed with unmatched clarity and power, not to mention his extraordinary interpretation that transmits so many emotions and his handling of dynamics, etc. Bisscute, I think that reacting more to this type of music could open the doors to an even wider audience. I recommend listening to Luciano's interpretations of the works: O sole mio and Torna a Surriento. My suggestion for a next reaction is to the Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flores, at La Scala in Milan, performing a popular Mexican piece called Cucurrucucú paloma. Greetings and a hug from Mexico City.
Hi Bisscute 👋 wow you've just taken me back to 1990 and I was 9. I discovered this during the football world cup hosted by Italy. Great job as always 👍

Few people have such extraordinary talent that their name becomes forever a synonym of greatness in their field. Einstein, Kasparov, Pelé. Pavarotti is one of those few names. A legend in his own lifetime
This was used for the theme tune for the Italia 90 World Cup on the BBC here in the UK, that's when I first heard this, it even charted in the UK Top 40, I think reaching number 3, which for an opera song was unheard of. I was a teenager at the time and had very little experience of opera at the time, but an introduction like that was mind-blowing. He then performed concerts worldwide with two other tenors, José Carreras and Placido Domingo as The Three Tenors, they performed concerts worldwide, brought out albums on cd that sold very widely, and they performed in LA at the following World Cup in 1994 in the US, which I think launched them to an even wider audience. Pavarotti is, in my opinion, the greatest tenor to have ever lived. You don't have to understand what is being sung, we didn't when first hearing the song, it is just so beautifully sung, I don't think anyone can deny this. Thanks for reacting to this Biss!!!
@@dietmarsteiner1070 No, it definitely only got to no. 2 on the UK Singles Chart, still an absolutely amazing achievement. I think Elton John's song Sacrifice kept it from the top spot.
Biss, this is Pav's best rendition of Nessun Dorma I've seen/heard; he seemed at his peak; incredible vocals and accompaniment. The venue was perfect at LA's Dodger Stadium on the eve of the 1994 World Cup final. Great pick 👍 Transcend is the word you wanted, Biss.😉 Discovered watching the best of the Three Tenors concerts. Watch O Sole Mio, Brindisi and La Donna e Mobile from the same concert.
Love the idea of seeing more videos of you discovering the talents involved in classical music. I, for my part, got to know this performance thanks to my dad, who was a guy that LOVED to know the basics of everything (music, literature, science, history, movies, etc). The three tenors (Pavarotti, Carreras, Domingo) is a great concert to explore.
Great reaction, to make this song more powerful and meaningful. He was diagnose with cancer at the moment he was performing. So basically he was singing with whole his heart to win this battle.
Beautiful your smile with your little teary eyes 😊 You should react to Pavarotti and Friends, I heard he did those concerts featuring some of the 90's most popular singers. My favorite are those with Eros Ramazzotti and the Spice Girls

This concert, of which this recording is part, was organized as part of the closing events of the 1994 World Cup in the USA (soccer for the Americans..🤦🏻♂️). It had been a while since Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras (3 tenors [hence the generic name for their performances: The Three Tenors], 2 Spaniards and an Italian. An audio recording was made to release a CD with the recording made that night. I have a copy of that 💿… It is not so well known but, I sincerely think that you would like to see if you can find it (or if not, a video with subtitles of the song) “Non ti scordare si me”. It is a sad but very beautiful song. In this concert, and in other similar ones, the 3 tenors not only sang opera arias but also more popular pieces and songs outside the usual repertoire of the “opera” itself, some in Spanish (I suppose that being 2 of the 3 Spanish must have influenced this 😅)
I first heard this when it was featured as the theme song for the Football World Cup hosted by Italy in the 1980s or 90s it became famous in the UK then.

FANTASTIC reaction. I love the fact that you don't analyze this performance like a vocal coach -- not that there's anything wrong with that! -- but just letting this performance wash over you is all the reaction you need.

I saw him once, on August 11, 1999, In Bucharest. His singing was only one of the once in a lifetime things that happened that day. Most of the really great and famous tenor arias have been recorded with Pavarotti I believe, so try E Lucevan Le Stelle, O Sole Mio, Che Gelida Manina, or almost anything. They are all great.
So, Bisscute, you explained it perfectly. I enjoyed your thoughts and insights in this. Yes.. it was perfectly explained by you. Thank you. And what a great performance Luciano Pavarotti did, he was a master. Br //M
A younger version of Pavarotti is Jonathan Antoine, part of Jonathan and Charlotte, who blew away the judges on Britain's Got Talent in 2012. Laura Bretan, 13 years old, sang Nessun Dorma (and other opera pieces) on America's Got Talent, and finally, ten year old Jackie Evancho won America's Got Talent in 2010 with opera songs, like O Mio Babbino Caro.

Opera is like that , lovely one. You either love it or hate it. Have you ever been Live? Sometimes watching you is breathtaking. Nows one of those times. 🤣🤣 God bless ya. Im starting my Friday way too early
I really appreciate hearing you acknowledge all the hard work it takes to master a craft. I often hear that an artist was blessed with talent. Maybe so, but to train and master that talent they have put in hundreds, maybe thousands of hours of training, practice and hard work, and I think it's important to remember that. You may be born with the tools, but you must work hard to accomplish anything with them.
I'm not an opera fan either. My parents have liked listening to him for as long as I can remember. He was amazing! I like watching people react to him on TH-cam
Nice reaction. Regarding Pavarotti, you might want to check out the official live performance video where he performs a duet with James Brown, singing "It's a Man's Man's Man's World." You may be familiar with the song, but this unique version is likely something you haven't heard before.
You say about his interpretation with the voice, listen to Pavarotti - Vesti La Giubba, and you gonna see the many faces of Pavarotti. He was the GOAT. Hope you like it. Also the opera Pagliacci is so beaultifil and strong, too many fellings you will feel.
I think really great artists are more than perfect technicians they have something special that fills their work with emotion others can feel and cannot be replicated.
Stasera gioco in casa e quindi commento in Italiano. Bellissimo brano e grande Tenore. Also please react to Caruzzo from Pavarotti beautiful song as well.
Thank you, glad you loved the reaction
You say about his interpretation with the voice, listen to Pavarotti - Vesti La Giubba, and you gonna see the many faces of Pavarotti. He was the GOAT. Hope you like it. Also the opera Pagliacci is so beaultifil and strong, too many fellings you will feel.
Maybe in the future
I think really great artists are more than perfect technicians they have something special that fills their work with emotion others can feel and cannot be replicated.
Stasera gioco in casa e quindi commento in Italiano. Bellissimo brano e grande Tenore.

I really love this song❤I discovered this song from Marc Martel-The Mercurotti it's so good 👍
Thank you, glad you loved the reaction
Wonderful reaction!! Congratulations! 👍👍👏👏🎉🎉❤
One of the greatest tenors ever.
Luciano Pavarotti the best.🙂
really nice review, you got the essence of it entirely
There are many great musical bits on TH-cam. But none compares to this.
❤❤❤ hola biss. Para mí el mejor. Nota de color. Abel pintos es tennor Medio aunque no hace ópera. Abrazo 🤗❤️
Dale gracias. Anímate a conocerlo. Jajaja gracias. Abrazo 🤗❤️
This isnt a re-upload? Oh, I'm so happy for you! I wish I could go back and listen to Lucian for the first time. My parents listened to him often when I was growing up, so i can easily pick his voice out of a lineup. Strangely, when he started his voice was weak and timid, and he later grew into his power. There are several videos of him singing mass along with his father as well, that I personally love.
One word for you at the end: GOOSEBUMPS!!!
Great reaction, showing your emotional response to Pavarotti's performance. I enjoy, and you might also, the video bella figlia dell'amore, the Rigoletto Quartet with Pavarotti, Joan Sutherland and others. Delightful composition and interaction between the singers.
Anyway, thank you for this reaction video.
Nice reaction biss,Pavarotti was king amoung tenors from the late 60s through the 90s, he helped expand the popularity of opera world wide, born October 12 1935 died September 6 2007
I imagine, hearing Pavarotti as I look across the table at Bisscute.
