Something this guy said that stuck with me is that in 45 days he felt he immersed in the culture and he feels Colombian. He's doesn't speak Spanish yet he has made great connections with the community already. I feel like for us immigrants who come to the US it doesn't happen that quick, but it is a testimony on how awesome the Latin community is and how welcoming we are
Yep thats facts. When I went there not knowing any Spanish I felt super welcomed. Not problems whatsoever.
