The only thing I didn't like was the constant begging and persistence of vendors who wouldn't take no for an answer but other than that Columbia is paradise in my eyes

Im old school G there a month ago no problem with out all of that fear but i was there kicking it with the locals not the tourists they called taxis for me tet me know what areas were cool took me on tours its more about who you are as a person and what kind of vibes you throw off along with safety sense you two did fairly good in your persentation made good points.

The security guard came with the Airbnb. I'd recommend getting an airbnb within old cartagena. Everything you'd want and need is walking distance and the beach/downtown is like a 15/20 min car ride

Great stuff..my things I stick to whether Colombia, DR etc is not to drink too much out in the street and never accept drinks from people you don't know. Unless I am meeting or linking up with folks, i leave my phone in the safe and I only take enough cash for food, drinks, taxi, etc. and i leave my wallet there as well. I see a lot of cats with the shoulder bags..very convenient piece of gear, but for me, I would rather not walk around with it, especially when out on the streets as I like to keep a low profile. I do have one i use when in transit between countries/cities and airports.

@@KING-ec6me juts came back from there, and usually for an all nighter it’s usually as many times as you want, but for anyone reading this, just make sure you mention that before you take them up to your room, and also $80-100 for an all night it feels too low from what I noticed, for an all nighter it’s usually around $150 give or take

If you order a Uber in Cartagena is seen by their like that Uber is your personal rental car while you are on your trip. So that means if the Uber should get into an accident, it will be your responsibility for any and all damages. It is illegal for a reason.

Barrio escalante is a nice neighborhood very safe with good food, the mangoes 🥭 are in massage parlor. Costa Rica in general is the safest place in Latin America, the only downside of Costa Rica is expensive you can fell that your US dollars go way further in Colombia. Avoid zona Roja (Red light district) in san jose and downtown San jose at night. For the most part you will be ok. There are plenty of American, Canadian and Europeans expats and retired people living there. English is widely spoken there. The average cost of a beautiful mango in massage parlors is 30 dollars for massage + Full service. PRE GAME WITH TINDER WORKS VERY WELL, YOU WILL HAVE SOME GOOD MATCHES
