Nationalism is caring about the well being and sovereignty of your country. The only people who don't like nationalism are in favor of globalism. So you demonize everything from the founding, the constitution, laws and norms. You turn the system on its head, play divide and conquer and blame the people who are in opposition as extremist. How can anti-racism fight racism by being racist? I don't fall for the antics. Any student of history can see the play. Don't get propagandized by academia and media pundits. You can't lump all Black churches together. I pastor a predominantly Black church near USC. I preach against abortion. You will have some of your viewers thinking that all Black churches are the same

    • @SonicBoomC98
      @SonicBoomC98 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      But this is what they do sometimes. I follow a lot of channels that somewhat promote conservative values, and they all do the same thing. They generalize, and they lump all people who even slightly agree with anything from the Left. If you follow almost any black conservative platform, you will find that they're always generalizing about black churches. I sometimes feel like I would be responding all day if I tried to reply and tell people that "it's not everyone. "
      But to be honest this is something we have accepted. When I look at social media, I don't see any race of people believe or promote the validity of negative stereotypes about themselves like we do. I see a lot of "well you know we do xxx." I don't know about singling out Obama, but most black churches I've I been to still speak against homosexuality. They often address the abortion issue. Even in ones that don't completely speak against it, they ask what our faith tells us about the issue. I've even seen Pastors pose the question "should this be the major factor in our voting?"
      I actually believe making people think all black churches are the same might be his goal. Many of us have this mentality "if the space is almost all us something must be wrong." I've seen several of the channels I follow question why things like HBCUs, black media companies, black neighborhood improvement organizations, etc were even allowed to exist.

I am against some things that both the Democrats and Republicans do. I was a college classmate of Dr. Frederick Haynes, who he showed in one of the clips. He has preached at our church and in our state convention, and there was nothing non-biblical in his messages. There are some flaws in the Black church, but there are a whole lot of hypocritical flaws in white churches, especially the so-called white evangelical churches that go along with EVERYTHING that the ungodly Donald Trump is and stands for. Maybe you haven’t watched enough videos, but he’s stated that he has an onus to the community he belongs to and to call out foolishness in his community. 83% of black voters are democrats. So is he addressing an audience based on his perspective or is it just what is? The unfortunate reality is that both parties use us as tools- but that’s why they shouldn’t be in churches to begin with. He’s addressing a specific issue in black church and nothing he’s said is incorrect. He’s using democrats because they provide the majority of the material for these circumstances given the left leaning of black voters. That would be like asking why someone would frequently use highlights of Michael Jordan winning championships or Mike Tyson knocking someone out. Tons of video to prove it 😂

But if I were in America, I'm voting Trump. We are not asking for a pastor. Look at the stinking mess Biden dragged in because he wants to outlove God and publicly affirm things God calls EVIL. The Bible makes it clear authorities are ordained by God to uphold good and punish evil. When you pander to race, let bad people out, DEI, and all the nonsense they openly flaunt, is that not a neglect of what God ordains authority to be. John Macarthur us spot on. True christians should have a hard time voting for far left ideologies. But of course it should be a general statement, America and its politics is complex. So you have a plumbing. I find this entire segment extremely offensive! I object to the use of colored, being an antiquated use of a word to identify the descendants of the African slave trade who resigned in America. Of which, there are many Christians, who believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ and not liberation theology. The representation of the “colored” church is given as if white, Asian, Middle Eastern, etc. churches are different in someway. I am very disappointed with you Pastor Cory.

    The white female teacher, Mrs. Murillo, on "Everybody Hates Chris" demonstrated the liberal attitude towards black people in an only slightly exaggerated way. In fact, I'd say the character was a little ahead of its time because, in many respects, we've gone backwards.
