Tony Evan’s daughter now has a husband and they run their ministry. I don’t think I’ve seen her speaking at his church on his platform giving a sermon. Conway has his own church and is making his own ministry decisions. Can we just be directed to persons who are sound? Tony Evan’s being on TBN is like you being on TH-cam where there are so many heretics. You have your own program and channel.
I’m confused by the push back against Mr. Evans’ daughter. She has said that her ministry is for women. She has also said she agrees that women should not be pastors.
She has said her ministry is for women and she agrees women should not be pastors. She does however preach in quite a few prosperity preachers on Sunday services. Most of the churches today that have women pastors are preaching and teaching pastors. So… she says one thing and doing the thing she says she doesn’t believe.
My biggest issue with some of you, Pastor's, is your stance on sin. It seems to me that your sin of choice is homsexuality. However, that is not the only sexual sin. Adultery and having children outside your marriage are not spoken of. Children being molested are not spoken of. Pastor's, please preach all of sexual sins, not just the one you don't like. By the way, some of you are involved with that sin. IJS

Everyone speaks of Sodom and Gomorrah which is against God, but they fail to speak on adultery, In which God killed 3,000 in the wilderness. God is against All sexual immorality. People choose which sins to go against based on personal preferences and not God's preference. It's rampant in May churches. The pastor speaks against homosexuality and all the fornicators and adulterers feel good that they aren't in that category. Wow.... I surely will keep this prayer as I was one of those who would here that song take my heart Lord come and seal it ..seal it for your courts above. I wondered why do we need him to seal it ...we should just stay with Him. However these are the days when many will so who are we to not humble ourselves and confess our daily need. This vid popped up on my screen and I agree on some points that he called out like at 943min God does see us one way but we can fall away from that like He calls us more than conquerors. Know your bible so you are not tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine. I used to be one of those ppl who was deceived once and feel regret for being part of that lie because I used to promote faith plus works. No woman should be a preacher. I can share the Gospel and teach my children or younger women only. it's important to keep things biblically aligned, which is the standard. Not my feelings or ideas but the Sword the word of God.

My husband and I are in ministry, and I stepped down out of the role after GOD took me back to scripture-1 Timothy 2:11-15. That doesn’t mean she cannot use her spiritual gifts in godly order as established in Scripture. All Christ-followers are to share/proclaim the Gospel.
For years I would Not acknowledge my call to ministry by God because of the view held based on that verse in Corinthians. Context is everything. This is why an accredited seminary training is vital. The main goal of seminary is to teach proper exegesis of scripture. Be faithful to rightly dividing the word of God, truth. Have you studied Judges in particular Deborah? What about Meriam? How about Huldah? What about what the prophet Joel Said? Have you considered the women in the New Testament? Consider 3 John? We're you with the woman when God called scripturally and sent? Who is more viable to spread the gospel between humankind and a donkey or rocks? If the rocks can cry out, why not women. I believe in divine order yes, a woman should not disrespect the man and defer unless asked to participate. It took me over 23 years before I acknowledged my call and sending. The LORD made it plain. My husband didn't believe in women preachers and I respected him and did not act on it bit God moved in a mighty way because it never stopped me from serving. Finally, when the LORD spoke to my heart three times and after the third time told me to tell the pastor. I told my husband. I was at a church that didn't favor women therefore, I acknowledged my call stating that I was not looking for a license I was being obedient. Three years later the pastor called me into his office and said he was licensing five women and he wanted me to be one of them. Years later at the same church with a new pastor excellent credentials and full of the spirit. He asked how each of us ministers was called. Notably I was the only one that had a clear biblically based call and sending. Everyone else had a feeling. A couple of years later the pastor called and said the Holy Spirit said it was time for me to be ordained and would my husband support me, I said yes. He spoke to my husband and I just cried because my goal is to be obedient to the LORD. God has been faithful and I was the first woman ordained in the church' history. We are Not greater than God. The main goal is to make lead souls to Christ and make disciples
Dr. Tony Evans is legit and my favorite preacher/teacher. No way is he in the same class as the others you mentioned. Your 90% should definitely be higher than that!😮 Furthermore Dr.Evans cannot control or be responsible for those who have gone out and have their own ministries. Their churches are not OCBF 1, 2 or 3!!! Be careful….🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Corey, I was a member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship for 22 years. I think Dr. Evans is great as well. However, l do agree with you about your differences with Dr. Evans. I was there when Conway was there as well. I currently live in Dallas and teach at Dallas College. Keep up the good work. The Bowtie Professor!

My husband is retired Air Force and we have moved around 19 times during his duty and afterwards lived in Japan for 10 years. We have shopped around for churches and have gone back to some trying to make it work. But believe me when I say, I don’t know where you live, but biblically sound teaching churches are hard to find. When we look for a church we first pray for God to guide us to the right church we then get up and go, after we visit we speak to the pastor and some of the congregates to learn about the church. Some we may return to and some we do not. But please don’t say, “ Don’t let anyone tell you that there aren’t a lot of good churches out there,” because that’s not true all over America, Japan, Korea, and England. You can’t go by what their website says and make a decision whether or not it’s good from a distance. Most of the time you have to actually go and not go just once but a few times before you know whether or not it’s a good church .

I used to listen to Steven Furtick, but one day I was trying to listen to him and my spirit became so unsettled. I used to attend Pastor Evans’ church, who I believe is great at teaching, but I got turned off when my cousin wanted to be baptized, and they told her that she had to be 18 in order for them to do so. Then, my other cousin wanted to be married in the church as a member, however she was denied because she was inconsistent with paying her tithes over the course of the previous 12 months. I used to be a Potter’s House member; my mom served in the children’s ministry and my dad was a deacon. I won’t go into the complete foolishness seen and heard, but just know I no longer attend that church. My grandfather used to say to me growing up that church starts in your heart, and as long as you keep it there, it remains in your heart. I’m glad I was taught that at a young age, because now I’m not aimlessly looking for someone or a church to lead me.

Women can preach! You also need to quit taking scripture out of context! There were women who were taking advantage of their authority and Paul had to address those things to that particular portion of the Church. Now, the principle is good for even now, but the correction was for what was going on then. When you take the woman out of that portion of ministry, you are only getting half of your blessing. "In the last day (the day that Jesus Christ became flesh), I will pour out my spirit on ALL flesh, you sons and your daughters shall prophecy". Prophecy means speaking God's word. Understand your role and allow God to hand out the roles of others...

I appreciate the content of this video. American Christians live in a society in which the love of the world has become normalized in churches. Tony Evans daughter preaching, I do not have a problem with women preachers, just women overseeing as Pastors or Bishops! Is not satan the accuser of the brethren? Start praying my brother even for those who claim to be called by God. The wages of sin is death! Morrison is definitely wrong on that! But should we say he was not called by God? And Morrison is preaching heresy in all his messages. If he is not of God, God will exposed him for who Morrison is. And I do not agree with this Co-pastor within the Church. These are weak pastors who try to appease their wives and society. Remember you do not have to be called by God to Pastor. Some can seek the Office'. When out was in seminary, my instructor would often say, " Some of you were called by God and some of you chose this as a business. Well said!! In my opinion.. he should point out the fslse teachings that are being taught without the name dropping. What is the focus of this video? To punk out or cheapen the name of these ministers or to share truth? Share truth without name dropping, the world already sees Christians bashing other Christians, dont need to give them another video to use as evidence. Tony Evans is a very good teacher. But we still need to know God for ourselves by reading and studying fasting and praying. No teacher or preacher is 100 percent correct that would make him perfect and none of us are I would say he is 90 percent correct which is still a good thing no one is 100 percent correct. I thank God for his teaching.
I completely agree. People don’t understand the reason why Jesus said you must be born again, born of the spirit. The Holy Spirit is extremely powerful, because of this you can never be lead ashtray. The wisdom, discernment, and conviction he provides keeps you on a righteous path. The Holy Spirit also keeps you from adding/removing scriptures, he convicts your understanding teachings. There’s a huge difference between one who is saved and one who thinks they are saved. Those who believes false teachings, no matter how small or great, does not have the Holy Spirit; because the Holy Spirit is truth.
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
We oftentimes have NO clue, WHICH pastor is real, NOR authentic, Just because a pastor SOUNDS good and it's refreshing to your ears while EVEN looking at his bible, if you are NOT reading your OWN bible a praying that God will give you clarity and understanding as you read it, if WE are not CAREFUL we will SOON find out we are in darkness, because darkness won't let us SEE what the light does. We need to not JUDGE, but we MUST be aware of FALSE prophets, dressed in sheep clothing looking pure as snow.

At round the 32:12 mark when the preacher Robert Morris says you don’t go to hell FOR sin then immediately corrects himself and says BECAUSE of sin would that put it in a completely different context. Just by changing one word. Did he or did not correct himself??? This is what you said he said. “People don’t go to hell for sin” The man corrected himself immediately. Please confirm this. And make the correct. No I’m not a member of his church. Never knew who he was until now.
Correction needed: Furtick said (9:25) "It's how I THINK God sees me..." Corey misquoted with "It's how I see me...", which has a different meaning. Corey then applied his misquote to a list of other things and drop the mic. What Furtick actually said is in line with being transformed by the renewing of our minds. Our thinking must be renewed to God's thinking. God's thoughts are no benefit to us and will produce nothing until we conform our mind to His. If someone is quoted, at least quote them correctly, no matter your opinion of them. Disclaimer: I'm not a Furtick follower. I just support accurate objective assessments.
The bottom line is the truth...are they leading people into the truth. I can't think of one pastor that has a high profile public ministry that I would trust with my soul.

The vast majority of Christians likely believe but due to being codependent on a pastor who refuses to edify the congregation, lack the confidence to believe it. If Christians actually lived out our faith, we’d all agree that the only true pastor we’ve ever had but will always have is Jesus. He’s calling us but we’re refusing to be chosen because we’d rather listen to feel-good snake oil salesmen.
God doesnt need anyone or anything. We should never bring God down to mans level. We need God, He doesnt need us. I scringe when I hear people say these things.
I can't rock with your comments about Dr.Evans. You have your opinions. Associations doesn't always mean you are like them. I have people who do things I will never do. Encouraging others is what I am here for. Be not conform to the world BE transformed by the renewing of your mind. God will get the Glory.
I think the common thread through a lot of these different pastors is the lack of a formal scholarly well rounded theological education especially when it comes to scripture and all of the different context it’s being presented. Faith and sound theology from things like hermeneutics and apologetics are extremely beneficial to making very sure what you are teaching the bride of Christ aligns with the Gospel. I’m not a fan of gatekeeping or that church leadership is some exclusive membership required class of society that has to be obtained through a standardized curriculum that most people would have to take out a crazy loan to afford. It’s ability to fosters humility and accountability as opposed to teaching whatever feels good to me in the moment and I can make it up as I go along using illogical reasoning when interpreting scripture or presenting your own untested theories as if they are immutable facts. It’s dangerous.
Corey unless you know what Dr.Evans is doing with the people you mentioned you are assuming. You can teach and pour into others but you have No control over what people decide to do nor do you know if they are going to be faithful to that which they were taught
We need to hear the total to get the full understanding of context. He who answers a matter before he hears it, It is folly and shame to him. Proverbs 18:13. Ex. 20:16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. And this is his commandment: We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us. 1 John 3:23. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:21,26,27.
He mentioned that every pastor has errored in some way. I agree. I'm curious as to where he may have errored. And, I'm not speaking about in the past when he was in prison or whatever. I'm talking about since he's been preaching.
Brother you must interpret correctly, that is Paul opinion when he says Christ speaks he says Jesus or the Spirit, did God allow this yes, women can be minister Pastor I won't say anything because Man has let God down in so many ways, so God didn't a woman couldn't carry his message. 2 Tim 3:16 says ALL scripture is inspired by God, they always want to mention men who wrote it but will exclude God out of the equation! Reference scriptures are 2 Sam 23:2, Matt 21:42, Matt 22:31, Matt 26:56, Matt 12:24,36; Acts 1:16, Acts 28:25, and Rom 15:4!

God went down in the trenches, and if I know Tony Evans, he was not there compromising his self or God's standards. Trust and believe, he was straightening everybody's despondent positions. People can keep making excuses for not going to church and being part of God's Ministry if they want to. He can show you better than he can tell you about not serving Him, He'll be back soon.

I’m glad I’m not a fan of any pastors. I used to really listen to Rob Skiba but he’s not a pastor but knew the word and was a great man in my eyes. Unfortunately for me and many other’s down here in the world God took him home you are missed brother. Bottom line is God doesn’t lie men do if the Bible describes the earth one was and NASA or mankind another way who are you going to believe. Wake up Christian people God never mentioned space never mentioned a spinning ball ⚽️ as our home . No he said the world has a firmament it’s fixed on pillars and immovable if you don’t believe the foundation how can you believe anything else.

The scriptures don't teach that women can't teach the proof of that is there are women who can teach the word better than some men. What the scriptures say is what u said they are not allowed to teach or usurp authority over a man when we come together as a congregation. But the scriptures say if they be ignorant let them be ignorant. That doesn't mean to demonize anyone who is teaching salvation, who is teaching the word of God. U guys go to far, and almost start a witch hunt on women who do teach over a congregation, when it's simply a matter of order, not sin.
I would argue and I'm not saying I'm right.... I'm just saying I would argue that It is a dangerous concept to believe incorrectly about the rapture and then teach it. I'll explain..... Before I actually didn't think it was a big differentiating factor we could sit together like you said, whether you believe in pre-trip mid trib or post trib rapture.... doesn't matter, It's not a salvation issue and it isn't..... Or is it? What I mean by that is, If you believe in a pre tribulation rapture, Then literally you are not not going to be Truly preparing yourself for both being holy to god but also for the tribulation that Is about to come. If you don't think you're gonna live through it you will prepare yourself...... But if you don't think you have to deal with it, then you are not going to be preparing yourself the way someone who believes they have to go through it would prepare themselves..... That is very dangerous because if you're not prepared , then you won't be ready on the day that the bridegroom comes..... You won't have enough oil in your lamp. You will be sent back to go find oil and The bridegroom will arrive when you are looking for the oil..... That is what is meant by that parable. The oil is a crushed out fruit of the olive tree, and the olive trees in the word of God in zachariah teaches us Represent the word.....and That crushed fruit, the oil, is being poured into the lamp stands.... Which is the testimony of Yeshua..... It's the church that brings the light of Yeshua to the world. In that testimony is living righteously....being made holy and being ready always..... Because we are the bride being made ready by our god for his son...... And in the hebrew wedding , the bride is waiting for her groom and she has to be ready always and loyal and chased.... Righteous living.... Obviously that's being Ready always to give an answer for the hope that is in you. But if you're ready always to give an answer then you're ready always......

I think most of the shade against Dr. Evans with many in the evangelical world is his belief that the Bible and the church should have answers to a fallen world. What they don't understand is that God never created race. They just love blaming everything on God's perfect work. Humans put their hands on it and a lot of things become messed up. That's the danger of theses platforms they can't thrive solely on teaching the word of God. They need thumb nails and latest Christian gossip to make the point on how to do it better. If they study the Bible and only preach Bible, they won't say anything that's not correct. They take off of teachings of others, try what they think will grow their church, and give their own opinions. A minister is accountable to God for what he teaches or preachers and will be held accountable to God. They need to take their calling extremely serious. Also, we as Christians need to be like the Bereans. When Paul the Apostle preached to them, he commended the Bereans because they searched the Word to make sure Paul was preaching truthfully. I have never seen a time when Christians have been so Biblically illiterate.

I started seeing red flags with Tony Evans when he started defending Kirk Franklin's worldly stage shows, saying we must be all things to all people. I believe Tony Evans is Franklin's pastor.
I love this channel and enjoy much of the content. However, I believe you must be careful not to condemn those God has approved. Secondary issues should not be used as a basis to condemn true men of God. Dr. Tony Evans is a sound teacher and does much for the Kingdom of God. Women “preaching and women “pastoring” is not the same. I respect your “opinion” on women preaching and would not deem you “dangerous” because you reject women preaching. But neither should anyone be deemed “DANGEROUS” for condoning women “Preaching” (not pastoring).
Really had to go back to what Paul wrote and struggled myself - 1 Timothy 2:12 kjv (12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.).. teaching & preaching are the same I believe.. the danger is influence - when you normalize things in the church it sets a precedence which grows legs which might be the caution. Conway has his own church and is making his own ministry decisions. Can we just be directed to persons who are sound? My biggest issue with some of you, Pastor's, is your stance on sin. It seems to me that your sin of choice is homsexuality. However, that is not the only sexual sin. Adultery and having children outside your marriage are not spoken of. Children being molested are not spoken of. Pastor's, please preach all of sexual sins, not just the one you don't like. Wow.... I surely will keep this prayer as I was one of those who would here that song take my heart Lord come and seal it ..seal it for your courts above. My husband and I are in ministry, and I stepped down out of the role after GOD took me back to scripture-1 Timothy 2:11-15. For years I would Not acknowledge my call to ministry by God because of the view held based on that verse in Corinthians. Context is everything. This is why an accredited seminary training is vital. The main goal of seminary is to teach proper exegesis of scripture. Be faithful to rightly dividing the word of God, truth. Have you studied Judges in particular Deborah? What about Meriam? How about Huldah? What about what the prophet Joel Said? Have you considered the women in the New Testament? Consider 3 John? We're you with the woman when God called scripturally and sent? Who is more viable to spread the gospel between humankind and a donkey or rocks? If the rocks can cry out, why not women. I believe in divine order yes, a woman should not disrespect the man and defer unless asked to participate. It took me over 23 years before I acknowledged my call and sending. The LORD made it plain. My husband didn't believe in women preachers and I respected him and did not act on it bit God moved in a mighty way because it never stopped me from serving. Finally, when the LORD spoke to my heart three times and after the third time told me to tell the pastor. I told my husband. I was at a church that didn't favor women therefore, I acknowledged my call stating that I was not looking for a license I was being obedient. Three years later the pastor called me into his office and said he was licensing five women and he wanted me to be one of them. Years later at the same church with a new pastor excellent credentials and full of the spirit. He asked how each of us ministers was called. Notably I was the only one that had a clear biblically based call and sending. Everyone else had a feeling. A couple of years later the pastor called and said the Holy Spirit said it was time for me to be ordained and would my husband support me, I said yes. He spoke to my husband and I just cried because my goal is to be obedient to the LORD. God has been faithful and I was the first woman ordained in the church' history. We are Not greater than God. The main goal is to make lead souls to Christ and make disciples

My husband is retired Air Force and we have moved around 19 times during his duty and afterwards lived in Japan for 10 years. We have shopped around for churches and have gone back to some trying to make it work.
But believe me when I say, I don’t know where you live, but biblically sound teaching churches are hard to find. When we look for a church we first pray for God to guide us to the right church we then get up and go, after we visit we
speak to the pastor and some of the congregates to learn about the church.
Some we may return to and some we do not. But please don’t say, “ Don’t let anyone tell you that there aren’t a lot of good churches out there,” because that’s not true all over America, Japan, Korea, and England.
You can’t go by what their website says and make a decision whether or not it’s good from a distance. Most of the time you have to actually go and not go just once but a few times before you know whether or not it’s a good church .

I used to listen to Steven Furtick, but one day I was trying to listen to him and my spirit became so unsettled. I used to attend Pastor Evans’ church, who I believe is great at teaching, but I got turned off when my cousin wanted to be baptized, and they told her that she had to be 18 in order for them to do so. Then, my other cousin wanted to be married in the church as a member, however she was denied because she was inconsistent with paying her tithes over the course of the previous 12 months. I used to be a Potter’s House member; my mom served in the children’s ministry and my dad was a deacon. I won’t go into the complete foolishness seen and heard, but just know I no longer attend that church. My grandfather used to say to me growing up that church starts in your heart, and as long as you keep it there, it remains in your heart. I’m glad I was taught that at a young age, because now I’m not aimlessly looking for someone or a church to lead me.
The Church is the body of Christ. One cannot be disconnected from the body and expect to thrive.
Put ur confidence in God not man. No perfect church anywhere, but they should be striving for Gods best in spite of human frailty.

Women can preach! You also need to quit taking scripture out of context! There were women who were taking advantage of their authority and Paul had to address those things to that particular portion of the Church. Now, the principle is good for even now, but the correction was for what was going on then. When you take the woman out of that portion of ministry, you are only getting half of your blessing. "In the last day (the day that Jesus Christ became flesh), I will pour out my spirit on ALL flesh, you sons and your daughters shall prophecy". Prophecy means speaking God's word. Understand your role and allow God to hand out the roles of others...

Morrison is definitely wrong on that! But should we say he was not called by God? And Morrison is preaching heresy in all his messages. If he is not of God, God will exposed him for who Morrison is. Tony Evans is a very good teacher. But we still need to know God for ourselves by reading and studying fasting and praying. No teacher or preacher is 100 percent correct that would make him perfect and none of us are I would say he is 90 percent correct which is still a good thing no one is 100 percent correct. I completely agree. People don’t understand the reason why Jesus said you must be born again, born of the spirit. The Holy Spirit is extremely powerful, because of this you can never be lead ashtray. The wisdom, discernment, and conviction he provides keeps you on a righteous path. The Holy Spirit also keeps you from adding/removing scriptures, he convicts your understanding teachings.
There’s a huge difference between one who is saved and one who thinks they are saved. Those who believes false teachings, no matter how small or great, does not have the Holy Spirit; because the Holy Spirit is truth.

What Furtick actually said is in line with being transformed by the renewing of our minds. Our thinking must be renewed to God's thinking. God's thoughts are no benefit to us and will produce nothing until we conform our mind to His.
If someone is quoted, at least quote them correctly, no matter your opinion of them.

I think the common thread through a lot of these different pastors is the lack of a formal scholarly well rounded theological education especially when it comes to scripture and all of the different context it’s being presented. Faith and sound theology from things like hermeneutics and apologetics are extremely beneficial to making very sure what you are teaching the bride of Christ aligns with the Gospel. I’m not a fan of gatekeeping or that church leadership is some exclusive membership required class of society that has to be obtained through a standardized curriculum that most people would have to take out a crazy loan to afford. It’s ability to fosters humility and accountability as opposed to teaching whatever feels good to me in the moment and I can make it up as I go along using illogical reasoning when interpreting scripture or presenting your own untested theories as if they are immutable facts. It’s dangerous.

What I mean by that is, If you believe in a pre tribulation rapture, Then literally you are not not going to be Truly preparing yourself for both being holy to god but also for the tribulation that Is about to come. If you don't think you're gonna live through it you will prepare yourself...... But if you don't think you have to deal with it, then you are not going to be preparing yourself the way someone who believes they have to go through it would prepare themselves..... That is very dangerous because if you're not prepared , then you won't be ready on the day that the bridegroom comes..... You won't have enough oil in your lamp. You will be sent back to go find oil and The bridegroom will arrive when you are looking for the oil..... That is what is meant by that parable. The oil is a crushed out fruit of the olive tree, and the olive trees in the word of God in zachariah teaches us Represent the word.....and That crushed fruit, the oil, is being poured into the lamp stands.... Which is the testimony of Yeshua..... It's the church that brings the light of Yeshua to the world. In that testimony is living righteously....being made holy
and being ready always..... Because we are the bride being made ready by our god for his son...... And in the hebrew wedding , the bride is waiting for her groom and she has to be ready always and loyal and chased.... Righteous living.... I think most of the shade against Dr. Evans with many in the evangelical world is his belief that the Bible and the church should have answers to a fallen world. That includes his teachings on various series like "Kingdom Race Theology", and how do we as believers biblically address racism and issues in society and the world. Promoting oneness in the Body of Christ first, and to the world is highly biblical, but Satan and his kingdom of darkness is opposed to this. Conservatives have been vehemently attacking him ever since then, calling him a social justice warrior. To place him on your topic pic with Steve Furlik and Andy Stanley is highly unfair and irresponsible.

That's the danger of theses platforms they can't thrive solely on teaching the word of God. They need thumb nails and latest Christian gossip to make the point on how to do it better. They take off of teachings of others, try what they think will grow their church, and give their own opinions. A minister is accountable to God for what he teaches or preachers and will be held accountable to God. They need to take their calling extremely serious. Also, we as Christians need to be like the Bereans. When Paul the Apostle preached to them, he commended the Bereans because they searched the Word to make sure Paul was preaching truthfully. I started seeing red flags with Tony Evans when he started defending Kirk Franklin's worldly stage shows, saying we must be all things to all people. I believe Tony Evans is Franklin's pastor.
Dr Evans has always been my favorite preacher 😮! His enlightenment of the word is always remembered!😊

I love this channel and enjoy much of the content. However, I believe you must be careful not to condemn those God has approved. Secondary issues should not be used as a basis to condemn true men of God. Dr. Tony Evans is a sound teacher and does much for the Kingdom of God. Women “preaching and women “pastoring” is not the same. I respect your “opinion” on women preaching and would not deem you “dangerous” because you reject women preaching. But neither should anyone be deemed “DANGEROUS” for condoning women “Preaching” (not pastoring).
Really had to go back to what Paul wrote and struggled myself - 1 Timothy 2:12 kjv (12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.).. teaching & preaching are the same I believe.. the danger is influence - when you normalize things in the church it sets a precedence which grows legs which might be the caution. Thinking if it was over women only no issue, but over a mixed audience there is an issue and danger - simply put if so and so can do xyz then I can to but if the Bible says no and we are the example to keep and follow then ? Just thinking
@@now-what I think you misread. I said preaching “AND PASTORING”. Not preaching and teaching. Every PREACHER is not a PASTOR/LEADER of the congregation. Just because one SHARES a message through teaching or preaching, doesn’t necessitate them having AUTHORITY OVER the man. That’s my point my friend.
@@now-what The Bible allows WOMEN to hear from God, and share it with the congregation. Paul makes that clear when he allows women to PRAY and PROPHESY… (being covered 🙂)
@@ElderMikeYourUrbanChurch of course - but this a whole sermon / on the regular/often - and when it comes to relaying this said for the body I believe this has to be verified by others and then delivered to the body vetted. But a testimony which we don’t do often anymore when you get to stand a share at church in front of others unvetted now this I can understand as an opportunity to share perhaps with the body. Sometimes a word is for an individual vs the body / if you have heard from Him.. that’s the risk these days of God said this when it isn’t and then the issue of false teachers who speak from the heart.. just thinking I guess.. and seeing the issue that’s being raised here

No sir. Prophesy is not a “testimony”. Prophesy is hearing a word from the Lord and sharing it with the people. Women were clearly doing that and Paul was not against it. I agree the primary teaching should come from the LEADER…. But to say a woman cannot Preach a message is not biblical.
I was shocked about Tony Evan’s .also pAstor Stephen Smith’s TH-cam channel has him saying stuff that sounds metaphysical. I would put him in false-teacher category . But what he was saying sounded strange . If pastors are not teaching the main things correctly then we have an issue ! We can disagree with secondary issues but not the primary ones. (The gospels )
I love them teaching of Tony Evans. His teaching is very sound. Even Jesus said with Republicans and sinners and was judge for that. These individuals have to see Christ in us

Teaching that one can lose their salvation ie have to work to earn or maintain salvation is exactly what a flase teacher does. That teaching is anti gospel.
