    I will be adding items to my store all the time and all proceeds go right back into the channel!
    In this installment I get the front half of the Proairrc kit installed!. It took a few tries to get the scratchbuilt cantilever system working. Still needs some fine tuning, i will likely redo the cantilever arms to give it some more lift.
    www.proairrc.com has the scale rc air ride sets
    www.instagram....
    Night crawlers 3d has the ramp bed and apache bodys, plus tons of ratrod and scale crawler bodies available.
    Check out www.proairrc.com for these scale RC air ride systems. It is a complete set of 4 air struts with a control box. It even has a wireless remote!

    Try adding some lead weights onto the front of the chassis in the c channel.

    Sweet setup, your craftsmanship speaks for itself! The whole time I was thinking of that same cantilever suspension setup in my mind then that's what what you went and did Lol. Another way maybe would be if you lay the Air cylinders down flat. then create some dummy hydraulic cylinders. Then run thin cabling inside of them and connect the other end to the air cylinders so that they pull on the cabling/wire pulling the dummy cylinders up. That's how lowrider model cars do it. Just a thought. Maybe you'd get more up travel.

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its cantilever, just sounds like kenny lol. Its just using the shocks remotely with a lever in between. Like the Traxxas jato has i believe. It lets me use these long air shocks where they wouldnt fit mounted traditionally.

    Great stuff Josh! That is working awesome. You might still be able to use one of the fake engine electronic boxes by G-made to cover the electrics and still have a functional hood? rcnewz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/gmade-sawback-20.jpg A bit of modding and detailing and it would look pretty trick under there.

    Hi 😃
    I just became a big fan of your channel, as I am starting my first Hot Rod project, been RC junkie since the 85’ though 🤪
    I would like to ask you what tires you have on the 2.2 Vanquish wheels, as I have a set of them, and might be using them... thanks a lot in advance🙏🏻, and have a great day 👌

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi there, those are proline ascension 4wd buggy front tires. Be sure to get the more firm tire compound as the ones I used on this truck were really too soft.

    Man this is sick. Was wandering what you are using to get the weathered and rusted patina look on the hard body. Is it all air brushed or did you spray or brush something on it after paint. Will be watching to see how this turns out
