As if your engine were not amazing enough, now I have seen this incredible chassis you have dreamed up and constructed and it too is just mind boggling. The fit and finish is truly above all others.
The workmanship, obvious superior quality, fit and finish of your RC engine and cars, is by a wide margin the best I have seen, it rivals Ferrari and Lamborgini. You are in your own class, and have no rivals in the RC build world. We have to call it the Keith5700 class, a class others only can aspire to, but never reach. I cannot wait to your next video on this project, whatever time it takes, it will be worth the wait. Cheers.
It requires a special kind of person to conceive and accomplish an idea like this. Having to custom make pretty much every single little detail on a machine like this blows my mind!
Your amazing mate truly a proper engineering brain u have . All that from scratch when people spend days on a computer . I know what d rather be doing , using my hands . A proper inspiration
THIS IS AMAZING, I’ve just subscribed and I can’t wait to see more. I’m not an advocate of the patreon thing but in this instance I wouldn’t mind donating a fair bit to encourage progress and see more videos more frequently. The more you post, the more subscribers you’ll get!!!
Your car is absolutely incredible sir! The quality of materials and workmanship is second to nothing i've ever seen! I'm so anxious to see it finished and running as with that beautiful V10, i would imagine it will go like a rocket and sound absolutely amazing! I luv multiple cylinder RC size engines and this is one of the best i've seen. Well done and keep up the amazing work sir!
I keep coming back to study this vid. Also in the process of reading your engine thread. Nice work!! Visually balanced & beautifully executed! I bought a benchtop mill a couple of years back & have been self teaching myself to cut some small pieces for a modeling project. I use guys like you for inspiration & education...please, carry on.
dude, remarkable doesn't even begin to describe this build , in fact i can't think of an adjective that comes close to conveying the level of amazingness there is in what you are building, i guess i'll just leave it at OMG!!!1
Your steering rack inner rod ends need to be in the same plane as the upper and lower A-arm pivots, otherwise you'll get bumpsteer. Your rack is too long at present, once you lengthen the tie-rods to reach the same plane as the A-arms, the A-arms won't be in the way.
Sorry I cite the handful of race car tech books I have. I figure it's easier to distill it down to a simple sentence. I'll refrain from sarcastic retorts.
EFormance Engineering you are correct. Bumpsteer will be an issue. The blackfagon has no clue of steering geometries. Don't get me started on Ackerman angle or instant center. :)
Don't need measurements to design from scratch, the relationship of the pivot points must all be in a straight line. It's documented in many race car texts dating to the 60's; I recommend the suite of Carroll Smith texts. Your measurements are an attempt to tune out a poor design, not designing it correct from the beginning. The purpose of measuring bumpsteer is to adjust the steering linkage so that wheels toe out if there is bump steer, instead of in. It's more desirable for the wheels to toe out, as it results in an increasing radius, which is less likely to cause oversteer and loss of grip. Now please stop with your pissing contest on someone else's video.
Calm down lads. I am fully aware of bump steer theory, but unfortunately I didn't leave enough space to get the inner link bang in line with the wishbone pivot. I'm working on that today and it'll end up fairly close. I suspect in practice, bump steer won't be an issue.
Keith5700 please don't let the comments of other reflect on all of your viewers. There are very few people who have the patience, motivation and expertise to make something like this. I myself appreciate the effort that has gone into this project! It looks amazing!
Im so glad that people like you have enough money to do stuff like this and dont know a damn thing about what your doing. Dont get me wrong this is awesome but from what ive seen here you have no idea what you are doing. Makes folks like me feel good about ourselves.
Супер проект ! Отличная работа. Что за двигатель ? Я таких даже не видел. Лайк и подписка ! Great project! Great job. What kind of engine? I have not even seen such people. Laik and the subscription!
Simply breathtaking art man. The carbon fiber arms, the V10 engine, your suspension layout is amazing. Do Not let these negative comments get you down in any way. If I had the money/expertise I would love to try to attempt such a build. Unfortunately my level of work is building a 1/14th scale Tamiya tractor trailers. Again, love the work, and congrats on your progress!!!
amazing what youve made with a bridgeport and an engine lathe. I have both, and couldn't imagine where to start to make a functioning engine, no less a miniature functioning engine that is efficient enough to be put in an RC car! amazing.
Anyone who possesses the incredible machine and tooling skills that you have gets my total respect (and envy!) You have created something truly amazing and stunning to look at. Outstanding creation Sir.
So in awe I feel like swearing. As an industrial machinist myself "non cnc" for over thirty years and a very humble model maker i can honestly say I have never seen such incredible knowledge and workmanship. World class I haven't seen anything that betters this - the engine on its own is a work of art - a masterpiece!
I always thought RC cars were for children and nerds but you made it manly when you dropped in a real running V10! And engineered half a fucking chasis and suspension! Bravo Sir!
That v-10 is the best running small scale multi cylinder ever made. This will be the most advanced realistic rc ever made. Someone contact this genius and propose large scale manufacturing of this potentially new product.
I tried to buy drill press lathe the other day for 900 bucks on Craigslist and really upset I missed out on it but after looking at everything you have you are the Superior engine.
holly shit that's a dream to have wooooow is that engine for real if so i would had to say the speed of that thing when you have it running dam it's looks the part well done a lot of time gone it to making it
Sir, that is an absolutely awesome piece of engineering. I'll be watching the rest of your previous videos. I also subscribed, I have to watch this project get finished. Congratulations on a fabulous project, I and most others would die for your skills. Thanks for sharing.
Keep at it, this is a fine piece of work all round. Just ignore the silly comments and don't let 'em put you off, you will have many, many people encouraging support of your unique builds so keep commenting open. Best wishes Keith, upload often :)
As a fabricator myself, I'm in awe of your machining skills.
As if your engine were not amazing enough, now I have seen this incredible chassis you have dreamed up and constructed and it too is just mind boggling. The fit and finish is truly above all others.
xKmotx this guy should be building Indy cars for a living. That is a true masterpiece!
No, it's a toy. Scale, physics, geometry? Well done and detail, awesome
xKmotx
Amazing
True master just dreaming of the day to be able to drive something like this truly god mode
It's almost hard to believe that what I'm watching is real. Absolutely amazing, it truly boggles the mind.
your fabbing and engineering skills are off the hook--very nice clean execution.
Simply amazing! Just wow! I had to subscribe, I have to follow this build!

Just sick this is so cool to see you putting it together with all the details i am looking forward to watching the dirt fly awesome
Words would diminish my feelings for this work of art. I was speechless watching you zoom on the details. Will you adopt me please?
Kenny C No freaking kidding.
Kenny C 👀

This is crazy town. I've been waitng since the start of youtube for someone to do something of this magnitude.
Get ready to keep waiting. This guy's work is meticulous, but progress seems painstaking.
Amazing.
I'm going as fast as I can.
Have you seen Colin Furze's work? Not nearly as good but he uploads often:
th-cam.com/users/colinfurzevideos
@@Impetuss furze is a clown compared to this level of skill
I’m so impressed with the quality of the work even to my completely untrained eye, I wish I had someone to teach me how to make things like this!!!!
Love the carbon fiber arms
Sometimes I think I'm smart, then I run across people like you. I feel like a knuckle dragger now.
Awesome engineering. Very impressive.
Holy shit man. That thing looks proper quality! Very nicely done
It's amazing what people can do with the right tools
I don’t have a vocabulary deep enough to express how utterly fantastic your work is.
What is the wheel base?
Hi, wheelbase will be about 900mm
Keith5700 Wow, she’s going to be a beast.
MrVolksbeetle well said mate

Man, just yesterday i checked in and thought "havent seen anything for a while". I hope we will see more progress soon! :)
Serious engineering here mate, I won’t pretend to know anything about it but this is beautiful. They don’t make em like this man anymore

If I was really smart and had amazing skills and was very motivated and a good problem solver with an impecibale eye for detail I could build that...
way underrated comment.

so great model. i must have one!
RC Menzinger Agrar&Bau 23k dollars
nothing like taking your hobby to a whole another level!!! this is insanely awesome any videos of it driving yet!
No, it'll be at least a year yet. Rear end will be really complex to design and build.
Супер проект ! Отличная работа. Что за двигатель ? Я таких даже не видел. Лайк и подписка ! Great project! Great job. What kind of engine? I have not even seen such people. Laik and the subscription!
Я тоже в шоке ) Отлично ! I'm also in shock) Excellent!
It is a v10. Meaning it has 10 valves.
Lol
Mr. SaltyPickle that must only be for this engine. You do know that it's 4-2 valves per cylinder right?
Andre Williams That is what the ‘lol’ was for.
Incredible work. Well engineered
This is the easy part. The hard part is building the cockpit and training something with opposable thumbs to drive it.
diGritz1 it should be an rc car
He'd never see it again..
Its radio controlled
BEAUTIFUL V10 SWISS WATCH LOOKING MECHANICAL ENGINEERING THATS IS STILL ART Work great job dude.
Simply fantastic work, please speak up.
Noted. I do mumble a bit.
Very impressive, I can literally see the hard work and dedication hope to see more soon

when i clicked this i thought it was a kit model with instructions but you designed and made it - wow...
What you have created is absolutely amazing.
Amazing work fantastic craftsmanship, and a truely awesome chassis! Keep up the great work
I'm so glad to see one of these scale motors put to use ! Instead of just sitting on a engine stand
You sir are a genius!!! You have accomplished what all of us RC guys have dreamt of! You are a legend! Completely brilliant!
Following this, can't wait to see this work of art finished
I always thought RC cars were for children and nerds but you made it manly when you dropped in a real running V10! And engineered half a fucking chasis and suspension! Bravo Sir!
Incredible. From someone who has invented and launched products, I’m speechless.
Can't wait to see this beauty all finished!!
I really have no other words then, HOLY F@#$! Bravo. Absolutely stunning.
This is beautiful. Some amazing craftsmanship you could make good money selling them!
Obviously what helps you to be amazing is the support of your wife. I think the work speaks for itself. Respect.
