Should have clarified pricing in the video, starting price for the Ranger Raptor in Canada is $80k, here's the MSRP difference:
Canada:
$80,140 - $86,060
USA:
$57,065 - $61,820
Ah thank you for the clarification. I was like what!! 80k usd? But it was CAD. It’s costing new roughly 67-75k in euros. 67k for demo models and 75k for factory new at dealer.
Haha you're welcome! Surprised the EU pricing is close to Canadian pricing. Planning on picking one up?
Only 58k when I put together a build.
USA vs Canadian pricing...
Nice video! 👍🏼 Love this truck! I will order soon still deciding between Azure gray or Black color 😎
Thanks! Ahh that's a tough choice. If you're going to ceramic coat the black would look sick but it shows off dirt so easily
@@CarsWithSteve I am going with black and do ceramic coat 👌🏼Thanks for this😎
Nice! If you ever put some content together on it.. send it my way to check out
@@CarsWithSteve Cool. I will.
That’s a Man’s Truck. love the Video!
Thanks!
For 80k they couldn’t put a liner in the bed 😂
Think they'll do it for three fiddy
Love me some ford ranger raptah!!! Damn truck competted in baja 1000...cant afford though 😅
And it won because it was the only one in its class to enter haha
@@CarsWithSteve its open to other brand... they better show some balls then
I don't think there aren't any other vehicles in this class size that could take on the Baja
For people that think that under 60k USD is not a VERY good price for the ranger raptor - my dad got one in Georgia (not the US state, caucasus) and it cost 80k usd. Yeah, you guys are lucky (even with dealer markups)
I've heard most models tend to be more expensive overseas but am surprised at how much more
I got one msrp you have to shop around
Really nice but the price is ridicules.
It's a bit high but you have to look at the capability that comes with the price tag. If Ford didn't have the 3.0L in this it would save a few thousand.. pull out the fox racing shocks, independent front suspension watts link rear suspension and you save a few thousand more. This isn't just a Ranger with the Tremor or FX4 pack, it's completely different all around
80k usd? I see it for 52 base price
Pinned comment ;) It's $80k CAD starting price. You might run into that price in the US if you're willing to pay a dealer markup but whenever I see that I tell them to pound sand
This is my dream car
Nice! What color do you think you'd go for?
@@CarsWithSteve black if not Gray those are my favorite colors for this car
Nice! Black would be great with a ceramic coat.. it'd show everything otherwise haha
So is the price.
Just a little bit.. but if it handles anything like the Bronco Raptor off-road it'll win over the people who have the budget
The price is mid 50k USD on Ford website. So I’m not sure where that 80k is from. Unless that is not USD.
@@jeremycurtis1984 Canadian price.
@@jeremycurtis1984 Canadian starting price
80k Canada dollars!!!! I see now
Yup. Thought I had said that when I was recording the video but it's had people talking lol
Nice but the big one is 105K so... Not the best price tbh for me..
Yeah I'm right there with you. I'd pony up for the full size over this if they were on my radar for my next ride
105k in US dollars right? Which makes a 58k Ranger Raptor a much more affordable choice.
Auto Show footage, Steve? I have to wait until April for the Auto Show to come here to the Rocky Mountains. Very nice looking truck but a Ranger, even with a Raptor badge, for more than $50 K is a bit hard to believe.
You got it, one of the few that I was able to get on camera without people in the background! It's a high price point for sure but Ford re-engineered the suspension system and threw in the 3.0L turbo which is night and day different from the normal Ranger. I doubt they're expecting it to be a high volume seller but it's like the Bronco Raptor.. there will be people who decide to pick it up
Have you made it out to the Colorado auto show before?
@@CarsWithSteve Oh, yes, I've been to the Denver Auto Show many times. It usually runs a Thursday to Sunday schedule sometime in early April. The best days to go are usually Thursday and Friday because the available test drives involve the better makes and models. But it is a huge exhibition no matter what day you go.
I lucked out and was able to go on media day in Toronto but I went again a few days ago and it was crazy how busy it was. Hopefully there's a great show for you this year!
I think that considering this thing as a ranger trim level is not a correct thing to do. I think (i might be wrong) that as with bronco and f150 variants, the ranger raptor is a raptor, only this time, with a ranger appearance. I do realize that it does use some ranger parts, but everything that makes a difference, is so uniquely raptor that I don't really consider it a ranger per se.
Hope this makes sense - english is not my first language
Ford, I can’t ah ford this!
I see what you did there
i.imgflip.com/39g8b4.png
that is a gorgeious truck.... but at $80+K i do not think so sir lol
haha, it's in Canadian dollars if that helps
oh so that comes out to like $43.29 in US currency? lol@@CarsWithSteve
@@jackson_craft_gamingscates9324 hahah pretty much
All important: Did Ford change location of oil filter in 2024 U.S. Ranger? Anybody know? Ford is making vehicles difficult for consumers who do their own auto maintenance. Ford is disappointed customers can easily change 2023 Ranger oil filter.
For the 2.3L it should be in the same spot but I didn't check for the 2024 3.0L in the Raptor. When the 2024 models start hitting lots soon I'll take a look and see how easy it is to access
Ordered mine last April and it’s still not here….The fact that they still don’t have vents in the back is just pathetic
Don't believe Ford has started shipping the 2024s yet but I'm sure you'll see it before summer! It is pretty weird about those vents though
@@CarsWithSteve literally got an alert from the dealer later that day that I posted on here, it’s built and should be here within the next couple weeks. But who knows, they told me 6-8 weeks when I ordered it almost a year ago, haha
Over priced.. no bed liner or cover ..
Bed line and tonneau cover would add unnecessary weight to an off-roader but you could always add it on from the factory or aftermarket if you really want it
Over priced
Compared to the $110k Bronco it's not too bad. Some different functionality but it's a good option for an off-roader with a budget
Please if you are reading this comment, do NOT buy a FORD vehicle! any VEHICLE! I got a 2024 FORD RANGER RAPTOR fi 80 thousand dollars, turns out it has an inherent vibration that the company says is normal for this car. If you speak with the customer service they are the worst in the world! please save your money and buy something else, I lost 13k USD to sell it back, and now im in the process of getting a RAM 1500 Limited instead. Please save your money and don't do my mistake and look for a company that respects and cares for the customers instead of money and wealth.
Was there no vibration in the Ranger you test drove before you bought yours? I've noticed that when I do drive them there tends to be a rougher start but it tapers off after 30 - 60 seconds depending on how cold it is outside. $13k loss is wild though.. did you look at different dealerships or private sale before you pulled the trigger?
Could you please describe the vibration issue? Also, where did you get yours?
