I'm glad people are getting theirs delivered, but for every Raptor that gets delivered it gets increasingly more frustrating that my pizza tracker hasn't moved out of "in production" since January.
How long did you placed in your order? I placed my xlt ranger order in last August I just got mine 3 weeks ago. Was told more options you put on it the longer it takes to built? Hard to see that when they have 3 shifts going 4-5 days a week. The factory didn’t tighten a connection properly to the battery to the alternator but the dealership fixed it right away. Just wait you’ll like the new rangers

awesome... Tacomas are awesome trucks for sure. I just really like the drivetrain in the fords, that was why I went with this over a TRD Off-road or TRD Pro
I got mine for MSRP, super thankful for that. Unfortunately my new ranger raptor must come from the factory and my dealership has no idea when I'll actually receive my truck.
Great looking truck. I'm in Va Beach. I tried to factory order one from 3 different dealerships and all of them wanted me to pay a mark-up. The problem with the Sync 3/4 (infotainment system) is not user error. I've owned 4 Fords in the last 7-8 years and all of them have had problems.
Wow, that is super frustrating to know about the Sync... my M3 had the same issue but it only happened 2 or 3 times over a year, but the only way to fix it was to shut the whole car down and then start it back up... so this is better than that, but still frustrating. Good to know it isn't just me doing something wrong.
If it's anything like Australia, try the regional dealerships rather than big city ones. Allocations are much better where dealerships have much higher sales of these types of vehicles.
Double check your rear differential oil as we in Australia having lots of problem with rear differential wining noise due to 25mm less oil in diff from factory (tipical ford standards) and letting diff go. Other small issues are 10sp gearbox and entertainment for now so enjoy. Cab is very small for long travel with 4 people and bed is only 5 foot unlike American trucks with big beds lol

I looked through and realized that the dealership only gave me the supplemental owners manual and the quick guide, no actual ranger manual. There is a note in the quick guide that says "Towing your vehicle behind and RV or any other vehicle may be limited. Refer to the 'Recreationally Towing Your Vehicle' section in the 'towing your vehicle' chapter of your Owner's Manual" which i dont have at the moment. I just reached out to the dealer to follow up on my manual so as soon as i get it i'll get you an answer
found the manual online and here is the answer... "You cannot recreational tow your vehicle with all wheels on the ground because vehicle or transmission damage could occur. You must recreational tow your vehicle with all four wheels off the ground, such as when using a car-hauling trailer. I was one that didn’t want to wait any longer , so I went with a 2024 Edge ST. Car is BadAss fast! Also saved me over $10k, plus another $15k because all the accessories I was going to put on it for Offroading. Plus another $10k for camping gear! Crazy how things add up quickly! Nice truck! last fill up was about $80 for premium fuel here in Virginia. I had the explorer ST for a while and that along with the edge ST are both awesome and very quick SUVs... there is an awesome TH-cam that did more offloading in his Explorer ST than most jeepers and he beat the crap out of it and it took it all in stride... If you make some videos of your Edge ST set up for overloading let me know... that sound awesome! Cheers and enjoy.
You can get a "stubby" for that antenna. Would not hurt to check fluid levels to extent you can do so. "They say" graphics can be removed with simple tape...NO fluids.
noted and that is a great point to check fluid levels... i will do that first thing tomorrow morning, would have to have an issue early on because of something stupid like that!
haha, that was exactly what the problem was... the doors are very tight on this vehicle... you gotta want it when you close these doors... i have a feeling i will be closing the doors for my daughters A LOT
How the street handling? Considering this for f150 raptor but I feel like the handling on this would be closer to a sports car. Im coming from a gti and would like something to be capable of spirited driving and truck duty
it does handle well in the sense that it feels well planted but it is much higher, and 1500 lbs heaver than my BMW so that alone makes it a whole different ballgame. The explorer ST handled a whole lot more like a sports car and that was a similar weight but very different suspension setup. I think if you are buying this truck you just have to accept that it isn't going to take turns like a sports car but it is relatively quick for a 5300 lb vehicle and it does things in the dirt that no sports car can do!

Same in SoCal. 10-20k is what the stealership guy told me. I asked about ordering. "Only limited number are produced".. F that. Tacoma or Zr2 is my next move. Not a brand loyal guy
@@DJMadVibes1 I'm with you... i had my eye on a Zr2 as well... if i went that way i would have probably gone with a used one with the diesel engine... they are pretty nice. I do love Tacomas as well, i have had 2 of them and they were great, but a bit underpowered. I also had the ecodiesel gladiator rubicon... it was a great truck as well but i sold it because of the HPFP issues before they got a fix squared away... so if you are still looking and you haven't considered the gladiator, that is a great option too and they are out there right now for no mark up! I got super lucky… I didn’t order this truck, one of the salesmen on the lot took pictures of it coming off the truck and said it was not spoken for so I was there at opening the next morning and I grabbed it. I paid 2K over but they hooked me up on my trade so it was a wash in the end. And i have always been a car guy, i have had the ecodiesel gladiator, a few tacomas, the explorer ST, focus RS and a few M3's so I like the high spec options of this truck.
I got dizzy watching your video. But its okay because I love this Ranger Raptor. My favorite Truck. Here in the Philippines they did not release this V6. They release small engine Bi Turbo 2.0. This engine 2.0 does not match to the heavy body of this Ranger Raptor. The price of this truck might be 4M Pesos. New subs here
i dont know if i would say it's stretched out but the bolstering isn't the toughest so it doesn't really push against the leather to make it look tight... nothing like my old Focus RS or my BMW seats, that's for sure.
I really wish the 24 zr2 still had the diesel option... that would have made it a more appealing choice to me. it is a beast offroad for sure... you cant go wrong with either one but i obviously prefer the ranger so that is what i went with
it's just a mophie vent mount for apple magsafe. to be honest, it fit better in my old car, i am on the look out for something else but it works for now for sure

Yeah idk if I agree with that. It’s the middle of 2024 and they haven’t even arrived at most dealerships yet. If anything it’s artificial scarcity, resulting in a higher demand. If lots were flooded with them(which they’re not) and then they were selling like hotcakes at insane markups, on top of the already 7-8k higher MSRP than its competitors, I’m not so sure how many they will be selling. They’re going to move some units initially just because of the name value, people that couldn’t afford the real Raptor etc, but that will die down eventually, and we’ll be left with a 70k mid size truck that is going to be sitting next to all the 100k full sized trucks that aren’t selling and haven’t been for the last couple years. It will be interesting to see a year from now how that business model is working, will they keep drip feeding them to dealerships like a rare sneaker to drive up profits for the dealerships, or will they generally release them like every other manufacturer. Feels artificial to me in order to create some hype and some buzz, time will tell.

yeah, some of them have their problems, but to be honest, every car i have had has it's issues. Chevy, Jeep, BMW, Toyota, Honda and yes... ford too... but it has been my experience that fords are far from the worst... some people just get lucky and others not so much i guess.

In BAJA mode the turbos anti lag setting is activated the turbos are always in boost.

I think the music not playing on CarPlay might be a ford error. My buddy just picked his up and the same thing is happening.

I know they did it on both my Focus ST and RS back in 2016-2019... i also had it on my 2020 Explorer ST... i wasn't a huge fan.

93 octane is a waste…truck can’t even consume extra octane. If 100s of ford engineers say 87, save yourself some money and use 87.
