When every influencer is referring to this as “overhyped,” and everybody else is just hearing about them for the first time, then you know it’s really just MANUFACTURED HYPE.
I literally thought (kinda still think) it's a paid marketing campaign. I follow tech a decent amount on multiple places online and has never ever heard of this company, these earbuds, or anything about them what so ever. Suddenly i log on TH-cam and like 3 people i follow post videos about them at the exact same time... Hmm....
If these creators want to "See through the hype", i hope they realize they are CREATING the hype waaaay more than the company itself.

A lot of things are just recycled every decade or so.. just like fashion. Everyone is into picking up used shirts with sweat stains just to have the title “ vintage “
I don't want that trend to return. It's so ugly. I'd rather have matte materials on all my products. Colour doesn't really matter that much, as long as the colours aren't too bright, but matte is perfect. Clear plastic fingerprint magnets are disgusting. Btw, I mean I don't like the case. The earbuds actually aren't that bad. They're pretty cool tbh

the one thing i like about this while not having it is the fact that the case is transparent. I once thought i put both earbuds inside the case and i lost one of them that way before. When you have a transparent case you can always see if both of them are still there when you are absent minded.

Got my airpods pro today, I personally think the main sell point of the pro version is ACN. For some reason these earphones nearly gave me an attack for the price point 😂

@@matomedjmalatsi9260 yeah but it becomes a problem when the people who are saying this is an influencer to alot of people and could literally effect the sales of this product, and when they have different opinions which contradicts each other, it could results in a confusing conclusion towards the review of the product. Also apply to the sound quality part where mrwhoosetheboss said they were the same as airpods pro, but mkbhd said they sound like $100 earbuds. Yeah design could be partially subjective, but sound quality is mostly not, and when both of them have contradicting opinions, it really doesn't help to give a clear idea towards the audience.

Been looking at a couple of reviews for this product and they sure do look great. Fo that price range! I sue do hope they will add a more custom equalizer, the presets are very minimal.

I’ve never been a fan of the whole clear case aesthetic but in this instance, I can appreciate the work that went in to making these look crisp and clean with the guts showing.

As a studying mechanical engineer, I adore clear cases, especially for watches and circuit boards. I just love being able to see exactly how something works. I wish they chose a nice black to match the circuit board for what they couldn't show, but I really think they look awesome.

In all seriousness, 100$ is pretty cheap for an all-in-one device such as tws. Plus summit iems nowadays are insanely expensive, Campfire Audio Andromeda (1000USD), Sony IER-Z1R (1700USD), 64Audio U18 (freakin' 3000USD) lol.
Although, there's a ton cheap wired* iems nowadays that sounds absolutely fantastic like the Etymotic ER2XR (80$), Moondrop Aria (79$), Blon BL-03 (26$), etc... Most TWS sounds like ass apart from Galaxy Buds, Airpods Pro*, and a few AKG, Klipsch, Hifimans...

Oooh Teenage Engineering. Those guys design some really excellent handheld sample and loop decks. They're skeletonized and very bare, essentially an unshielded PCB with exposed switches. They have cute custom LCD readout screens that make them look a bit like a Texas Instruments scientific calculator out of its shell. Also they're pretty expensive for their size. They come in a variety of lines, functions and colorways.
As someone who's had this issue, they might not have made the bulb of the earbud transparent because anything that's clear will eventually stain if exposed to a colored material (clear bulbs + yellow ear wax= gross looking plastic after a few months)
This will make sense to anyone who has put spaghetti in a tupperware container

@@ekasism he meant hiss external sounds like loud fans or in airplanes while testing the noise cancellation. sound does come Not from the earphones themselves.

You're forgetting the context (as in, he's comparing it with the more expensive buds) and are twisting his words/misunderstanding it (the "hiss" he's talking about is with the noise cancellation unable to filter the high pitched noises).
I can say coming from Bose ie2 earphones, and the jaybird Tarah pros more recently. These sound good, are very light and the most comfortable in ears I've owned. Obviously if you compare them to the £3-400 earphones they aren't going to be as good. Overall though, they are very good!
Would have appreciated a detailed review of the mic. Feedback of how mic works while taking calls. How do they work when taking conference calls on popular apps like Teams and Zoom. Also what are their range while keeping phone aside.

I have them and they are great! Dope sound, base is hitting hard, they are comfortable, app is easy to handle and those are the best 80 euros spent so far for earbuds...

I have had my Galaxy Buds+ for about a year now and they are great. I can wear them under a helmet, under hearing protection, and they stay locked in especially with the more aggressive wings. The Galaxy Buds+ also sound quite good (not surprising since AKG had a hand in things) and I found myself surprised at the detail they were able to deliver. To be fair I was using some TIN Hifi earbuds prior to the Buds+ and they were very detailed but they didn't stay firmly in my ear and the wire was a pain. Outside of my house I would be hard pressed to not be using a wireless listening device now, and it makes me chuckle because I expected a few more years to pass before wireless solutions were worth adopting.

I noticed when you do earbud reviews that you don’t review how they sound to who you are talking to on the phone when in use. That’s important to me that others can hear me when I talk to them through the buds.

I miss that aspect on his reviews too. But surely there are others that do it that way, more technical I guess. MKBHD reviews are a little bit more about the concept, if you get what I mean.

And even if I knew about him, how would that change things? I'd have to be following him and his news to get a whiff of something like this, which I'll tell you, most of the people watching aren't.
That final comment about how most people don't want amazing quality with that price range is super true. The main thing I'd want in that price range is pretty good sound, but amazing battery life. If they can hit 8+ hours on a single charge so I can go about my entire day not needing to worry about charging them, fantastic. Also, if the hear-through/transparency feature is really well done, that's a big bonus.
If u plan to have them in your ear for 8 hours straight, you should just buy headphones instead. Way better form as they go over your ear and not inside it.
These are for relatively short uses after which u just plop them in the charging case.
@@EpicBunty Headphones pressing against my ears or weighing down on my head both lead to my head paining, so I have to turn to light weight earphones. Right now im going for samsung buds or pro, or these ear 1's. Only thing that matters to me is comfort for 2-3 hours, any suggestions?

@@RaveCoaster yeah that's so good and popular nowadays, mine I'm pretty sure is designed to be used as shoulder bag as it's laid out diagonally so would look bad if it were used actually as a fanny pack.
How? They're almost as thin as a phone and extremely tiny. If you put your wallet, keys, or phone in your pants then airpods shouldn't be a problem.

I’d love to see a lot people’s feelings and review after 6 months of use. The more complex and involved assembly has me wondering if it would lead to higher or lower average build quality, and more/less issues making it through quality control.
I've only had these for a week so far, but I have the same issue he had some six months ago. Specifically. in the app the right earbud is the only one connected. If I close and open the case, the left one will show up.

Just received my NOTHING ear(1) earbuds. And with like most new earbuds I get I always change out the original silicone ear tips. Call me spoiled but nothing but AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC ear tips are used on my Bluetooth earbuds. I am very happy to say that AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC tips fit perfectly on my new NOTHING's plus... they fit in the clear earbud case as well. Happy Days!!!

Soundcore Life P3s have been great for me. I've never had the "high end" buds like Samsung or Apple so I can't compare. They do have all the features of these Nothing pods plus full eq, multiple noise cancelling modes and transparency mode. I've been very satisfied for $80. I will say the noise cancelling is a bit of a pick your poison scenario; the different modes either focus on low end frequencies or high end. For me it's a little annoying because in an office setting either guys with deep voices kinda come through muted or ladies with high voices come through. It's still much better than no buds at all and they do a phenomenal job with ambient noises.

I got these for my PC bc of the wireless charging feature. I wish their app worked on PC, I have to connect them to my phone to adjust any settings. Other than that I love them. Very comfortable and with anc/transparency modes I don't have to take then out if I have time step away from the comp

I finally received my Nothing Earbuds and I'm totally pleased with them...They stay in my ears better then others and sound was good for the price they look great...looking forward to the the first Nothing mobile phone...So now you will review iphones and Android phones without any hype in the future?
Update: 6 months later the only thing I don't like is the battery life which really sucks...
