    I literally did the exact same mod 4 days ago...... the only reason for that 9mm socket!!!! I have to say, I was skeptical, but this did fix most of my issues I had over the stock hot end. I had a hard time with fifty bucks for such a tiny part, but...... it just works.
    I'm printing a chess set for my nephews which is a lot of printing (printing a matching chess board too) and so far, it's been FLAWLESS. Even some areas I thought I'd need support..... worked fine without.
    I think you're definitely Mel Brooks illegitimate son Matt!

    I like that cooling mod. Do you have a link to the fan mount? Loved the twist of humor - much better than watching a "do this, adjust that.... blah, blah, blah." video. Don't overdo it, but the small amount of added humor in this video made my New Year. Thanks Matt!

    What are your settings that you use for this all metal hotend kit? I use the repetier host software to print , and what software do you use?

    • @InsideTheMindOfMatt
      @InsideTheMindOfMatt  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a raspberry pi running octoprint as my host simplify3d to slice and settings are the same as any nozzle really depending on the material BUT for pla I now run an Oiler with a little canola oil
