What’s your opinion? I purchased the scope Discovery LHD-NV 4-16X44SFIR SFO for my PCP high-powered pellet rifle. 1,100 FPS and 70 FPE. I spoke to some experts and they told me that if I am exclusively focusing on marksmanship/target, shooting with my pellet rifle to a my maximum distance of 300 yards and maybe 400 yards if possible that I should exchange my scope for the first focal plane Discovery model which is Discovery optics LHD 3-12X42SFIR FFP. A minority of people told me that it’s a personal choice.
It's a hawke airmax compact 3-12x40. I own a sidewinder 4.5-14x44. Its a great scope. For me, the mag range is perfect and it's pretty compact. I'm no fan of massive objectives so 44mm is the max for me.

I prefer the Hawke...lower unit price on that one then 🤣🤣🤣

Sadly doesnt say which hawke model he has. The hawke sidewinder is reported to be superb for a mid range scope.
