Good to know these are holding up to springers. I know some like the Bug Buster do good, but wasn't sure about UTG's other scopes. I bought a UTG 4-12 x 44 & a 4-16 x 44 last summer along with a Hammers 3-12 x40 and a BSA 3-9 x 40 that were returns marked Used, like new at half price or less to even out my airgun to scope ratio, but haven't used the UTG's yet. They were still like 70-80 at half price and I didn't want to break them.
I've used all but the 2 UTG's. I should have tried them in the first 30 days, but both of the ones I got were never mounted so hopefully there good. UTG's do have a lifetime warranty, Not sure if they would cover them being open box returns. @@springpistonriflefeverlone9611
I use UTG, great low budget scopes. Also I prefer Hawke scopes and meanwhile VectorOptics on a FWB300sUni (45year old low power/7,5J and very accurate MatchSpingPistonRifle). VectorOptics (german brand, china made) have a very fine Reticle, impact resistant and the same price range as UTG.
I just ordered a utg 3-12 to mount on my HW80 and maybe bounce it around to some of my other HW’s. Im really hoping it can survive a break barrel’s wrath. Love your videos.
Nice explanation. I missed you going over the adjustable knobs for wind etc. Can you turn those yourself? My stock scope is cheap so it has that cap i have to screw off and on and adjust with a dime or flathead. Lol. We have all been there lol
Have you ever tried one of the CVLife budget scopes? I’ve heard good things about them for how cheap they are but was curious if you’ve ever used one. We don’t have much money to play with right now due to us moving.

The Leapers is a little bit better. I would not say one hundred dollars better, but definitely forty dollars better. I have a link in the description for the Leapers.
Nice scope seems like there going for around 150$ on Amazon right now but I also seen they have the Athlon talos 3-12x40 on sale for 160 I watched your unboxing video of that scope but never seen you do a review on it yet anyway witch one do you think is better value looking to put either on my r9 22
Can I use the rings with stop pin from the gamo scope that I am replacing?? Or should I buy the one that goes with the scope? I assume I will have to buy it in addition to the scope. I hope it will work with a gamo mach 1 .. thanks again

I could not zero the scope that came with the gamo whisper fusion Mach 1 .. I am new to the break barrel air guns .. I am hopeful that this scope is easier to zero .. your response helped me a lot with the discussion.
Chuck question for you. I was visiting a friend yesterday. He has a Gamo Bone collector, an older one. No iron sights. His scope that came with it busted not long after he got it LoL. Have you ever tried to put a red dot on a air gun? I scanned through your videos but couldn't find a video on that. Thanks
I have never tried a red dot on a springer, but Nib's from Walnut and Steel had one on an HW50s. The HW50s is a pretty mild springer at 11 FPE, so I'm not sure how it would do on a 17 FPE gas ram.

Does this have an etched reticle & is it shockproof? UTG never answered my question, which seems to be the normal of their customers. I seen a lot of people complaining their scopes don't hold up.
@@TheCleaner6969 I only have had one failure on a Diana 350 N-Tec Classic 22. Partly because it was over elevated because of barrel droop, the scope mount was shimmed and that caused the scope to get a dent in it. My 350 N-Tec is my biggest scope destroyer. It does have a wire reticle, but it is a shockproof scope. @@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 Thank you for the reply & the info, I much appreciate it. I had a Beileshi 6-24X50, shot 500 pellets with it, but it drifted to the left or right after I'd zero it. Groups were decent but in the wrong spot. I just sent it back. Before I bought another I figured I better ask. My rifle is the Black Ops Sniper S gas piston. I'm shooting .177 7.5 to 8gr. Reading reviews on Amazon is terrible.

@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 I'm not all that knowledgeable on the different types of air guns these days but I had a raptor I used for rodents of unusual size. It eventually stopped holding as much pressure so I gave it to my nephew to learn on. I need a new one!
@@Jezus42 I hope that you find a good one. Personally, I like steel coiled springs instead of gas rams. I think that the steel coiled spring is more reliable and just as good or better than a gas spring.😃👍
