I just use my Sony A6300 with the kit lens it came with. Sure I'm probably missing out on stuff with other lenses but the convienience of how small the camera is combined with the lens makes it so easy for me to carry around anywhere. I've even managed to sneak it into a few events where cameras with interchangable lenses weren't allowed in lol

That's not a fixed gear. That's a single speed. Fixed gear means the bike stops when you stop pedaling.

I’m stuck between this and the Sony 85/1.8 right now for the A7CII (or adapting something from M Mount, but that’s going to be manual focus). The 85 is pretty small for an 85, but not like this Sigma.

I just bought one because it looks like a lot of fun and for me the benefit is that It's a chemical procesess like polaroid. The cost of film processing is around £20.00 per colour roll Inc 6x4 prints so the cost is about the same per shot and only cost £94.00 which is a lot less than all my gear and other printers that cost a lot to run and adds another dimenension to my photography.

i wonder how this lens compare to the l 27mm f2.8 or something like the tamron 24mm f2.8, is this lens holding up in 2024? Ive read some people saying is very soft or giving digi cam vibes, can some one confir or deny that?

Thank you! Quick question, I've had luck using a Summitar collapsible screw mount lens on A7s but I just upgraded thinking the same lens would work on the A7c and it's been horrible. Is there something in the newer Sonys that's getting in the way?

It you're a treet photographer, you don't care for F1.2, F1.4. You also don't care much for bokeh. It's about documenting the entire scene. It's about capturing unscripted moments. That's what makes the picture. So even this nifty cheap-o (which I own btw), works. If you're a street photographer, don't chase the latest and greatest, chase the moment and keep it minimal.
