@@faisalmemon285 Captain Rex is the clone captain who fought among with Anakin and Ashoka during the clone wars and the Crew of the ghost against the empire.
For those who don't know, @1:26 that is Captain Rex, and the reason why he lowers his blaster and approaches the trooper is so that he could steal his uniform. If you look at the next scene very carefully, you can see him standing guard outside in the scout trooper outfit. He helped stall the imperials from entering the base sooner, and can later be seen again later when they all celebrate. If he hadn't held off those imperials, the mission would have ended a lot sooner.
@@worthlessfools1 Dave Filoni never confirmed it. He said it was possible. He actually reneged on the statement and said it was not Captain Rex. It is, in fact, an older Rebel named Nik Sant. Six months after the episode's airing, Filoni revealed in an interview with IGN he ultimately chose to not officially canonize the theory, stating that he did not want to take a character that had existed prior to him joining Star Wars.
@@eddieblancher7557 Don't get me wrong, I think it would be great if it was Rex. I just can't think of a good reason for him to take the alias of Nik Sant. Hopefully they'll Canonize Nik being an alias for Rex in the future. Fun fact: they gave the old man the name of Nik Sant because he reminded them of Saint Nick.
@Ultra Brian well He was not actually, thats Niko Sant, Rex just fought in the Battle of Endor, we dont even know where he was (He might have been on a ship the whole time), look it up on wookepedia, filoni first wanted the bearded man to be rex but then said that He doesnt want to decanonize other already existing character
1:25, Hey look, its Captain Rex. (applause, cheering)
Who is Captain Rex?

Sure thing, so he is only 102 years old here in this scene :D
Yeah, it’s Rex. Imagine all that man has gone through until there.
No, just because the trooper has a grey beard doesn't mean anything. the time gap is too big and clones already age twice as fast as regular humans
@@mc75cruiser92 Except it was confirmed by Dave Filoni and they even mention it in the last episode of Rebels

1:25 Rex he might be a flanker so blast him
1:22 Is in the Star Wars Galaxy of adventures Han Solo: Smuggler to General episode, Confirms Commander Rex is Canon!!!
No Filoni says he didn't feel comfortable overwriting Nik Sant, the old man, so it's either not Rex or it's Rex using an alias.
@@jonathanmarroquin1020 Well I thinks its still Captain Rex in my point of view.

It would've been cool to see a clip of Rex's point of view of the battle and him arguing with Han and Leia!
To be precise arguing with his former general's daughter and son-in-law 😍😍😍
too bad rex was not apart of the main ground team on endor

All the times watching this I never noticed the rebel soldier hitting the imperial officer with his gun.
I guess many star wars fans don't know about Oblivion memes
Music obnoxious but good to see Leia smiling in thumbnail.
