- This is Part IV of IV of the South Pole timelapse series shot by Robert Schwarz. Shot in the winters of 2018 and 2019. Processed and graded in HDR by Martin Heck.
The South Pole is one of the coldest, driest and harshest places on earth. The Aurora Australis can be seen together with the core of the milkyway only here in Antarctica. Temperatures below -70°C/-95°F during the polar night are not uncommon. Together with strong winds and exceptional aridity this is one of the hardest places in which to shoot timelapse. Special equipment has been constructed and modified to keep the cameras running.

Thanks!
You always help remind me of the wonder all around us. I also appreciate you reminding me that whatever I'm worried about at the moment is very very small. Thank you.
Stunning. Mesmerizing.
This video proves in front of nature everything is tiny..very captivating shots
My next wallpaper and my favourite video of the years 🤩
Absolutely Stunning!
I've never seen such a blue Northern Light video. Thank you.
It's the south pole or ANTARCTICA...How the hell are you gonna see "Northern" lights over there?😂
It's SOUTH... so... It's the southern lights or aurora australis.
epic, astonishing & magnificent, as always
I had goosebumps most of the time while watching this. Piece of art!
These guys need no introduction, Absolute AWESOME work, Beautiful and those purple and pinks WOW... WOW... WOW...
It is always a treat when you upload thank you
STUNNING !!! as always 😍 The Milky-way and Aurora together in one shot 👌🏼😎👍🏼
Masterpiece as always. Just insane!

So much epic beauty. I really enjoyed this. Thank you for posting!! 🤩🚀🌌
Great (again) you could see that it was shot in 2018 and 2019 concerning the position of Mars and Jupiter near Sagitarius/Ophuichius and that it was at the Pole the way Orion was cut into half at the horizon.
Absolutely fantastic … as always. Thank you!
Impresionante 👌❣️

Exelente lugar ,muy buen bideo
Beautiful
非常漂亮!Wonderful!
Incredible.
Soooper!
I love my Sony 4K HDR tv
What are the streaks in the sky? Satellites? I didn't think there was much air traffic over the southern pole.
Correct! Due to the shallow angle of the sun, almost all satellites in orbit are lit up over the poles and therefore very visible! There is effectively zero air-traffic over the south-pole in winter.
Harika 👍
grazie
Beautiful work!! 👏👏
What's the melody?
One place I've always wanted to visit is Antarctica, but feel it's off-limits and far out of budget for us regular folk,... anyway awesome work, as always, thanks again.
amazing!
📷 Wow! If I could, when my time comes⌛, that's where I'd want to be (Going there before that would still be good😉). Amazing, peacefull! Perfect earth - human - cosmos connection ❄👍🏻👨🚀👍🏻☄
Super
Maravilhoso!
so awesome how you can see Mars and saturn in the sky at 1:04
would like to see a 24h 360 degree sun timelaps.
We have some 360degree timelapse with the moon I think. Not sure exactly. If I find a good shot I make a video for TH-cam or Instagram!

Great Pictures😍 Thanks Robert and Martin for the film. How did the HDR production process go? Can you give some details and what did you do to make the SDR version look good too? Greetings from Switzerland
I want a iceplanet FOREVER
Can you see the lights from the antarctic peninsula? Or Lemaire's channel?
2:00 WOW so many UFO's/Meteors/Shooting stars
All of those are none of the things you mentioned :) It's all satellites.
@@TimestormFilms Well I knew it wasn't airplanes :) So I guess those things. I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. thank you!
👍👍
Who let you go so deep into Antarctica?
Spectacular, Deployed Worldwide Through My Deep Learning AI Research Library SilentWeaponsForQuietWars Thanks Martin
@Timestorm.. are those UAP?
no.
@@TimestormFilms Thanks... don't know if the topic is of interest but I do hope you get a nice shot of one once!
want a iceplanet
Empcoe is near
I'm questioning my own reality 😕 🙃
And who is flying deep into Antarctica and back?
The USAF 😅
Is this actually real?
Yep.
Who constantly flies over the South Pole? After all, planes don't fly there, according to official data.
Night sky almost looks composited
