UNCUT: SOUTH POLE TELESCOPE | 4K HDR | NIGHT IN ANTARCTICA IV

- Bonus video with the full length, uncut timelapse as seen in part 4 of our South Pole timelapse series.
The South Pole is one of the coldest, driest and harshest places on earth. The Aurora Australis can be seen together with the core of the milkyway only here in Antarctica. Temperatures below -70°C/-95°F during the polar night are not uncommon. Together with strong winds and exceptional aridity this is one of the hardest places in which to shoot timelapse. Special equipment has been constructed and modified to keep the cameras running.

Bro, it's just one clip!! 🤯Relaxing AF!
Your channel is always an inspiration to make me go out and do timelapse.
Those long hikes, cold astro sessions (and in this case uberfreezing environment) and early morning wake ups - are all worth it. Thanks Robert and Martin!
That is epic!
Great choice for the music 👌
Round and round we go 🌌
Best milky-way time-lapse to date.. ESPECIALLY IN HDR
This is incredible!❤🔭

The amazing thing is this time lapse looked fantastic even the planes added charisma to an already beautiful piece of work from to me the best timelapser in the world... Great and mesmerising captive footage...
not planes, satellites :)

Looks like it was also shocked and stopped moving when it saw the mesmerizing beauty of that color show, then it started to turn around with love and respect like the whirling dervishes of Mawlana Jalal Al-Din Al-Rumi (aka Rumi). That's the way how it made me think like.
absolute stunning! thank you for sharing
Nice job again mister Robert Schwarz and stellar editing job as always mister Martin Heck
Amazing !!!!!🙃
Sublimes couleurs.
When I saw the Orion nebula drift into view I instantly dialed in on it and watched it for a few seconds before realizing again that I was looking at it and it was actually pointing downwards rather than up like you get so used to seeing in the northern Hemisphere. Really brings into focus the fact that you truly are at the bottom of the world.
What is in the sky, when it's down means further away from the observer and up means closer to the observer. It is how our eyes work. Perspective.
@@Saina-888 whachya trying to talk about there trix?
@@StormsandSaugeye About perspective and our level stationary Earth.
@Vedantka it's not. And the fact that you think it is tells me your opinion is worthless.
Incredible, so beautiful.
Einfach heftig

Prodigioso. Lo veo pero no puedo creerlo
This is what people been doing all night thousands of years ago and today. Watching the universe ✨️ damn I want to see this in person.
that makes the world a bit more livable again
The sky really said 🌌
All I want from life is to see those magnificent images with my own eyes, but the inflation in my country has gotten so bad that I don't think I will ever be able to watch the stars in important parts of the world again.
А куда летают самолёты?🤔🤔🤔🤔
Видео, как всегда, 👍💪🔥🔥🔥
beautiful. Are you there now finishing up the winter?
new video...

Simply stunning!🌌
P.S.: Always wondered about how does one reach the South Pole.🤔💭
Me too on the PS! How did you get there?
Just keep going North.
@@MrSatyre1 Ahhhhhhh!! How much does that cost??
Please tell me you were able to catch the neon green skies during this latest Midwest derecho!
Is it planes on video we can see as light lines on 6 sec or no?
Welcome to garden of light.
Imagine what worlds the telescope is diving into whilst we sit back a get a full view of a never ending night.
It's part of the event Horizon telescope :>
So quite a lot.
Maravilloso!!! Gracias por compartir este video.
Alucinanteeeeeeeeeeee
😍😍😍😍😍
Which Lens was used? Absolutely stunning!
Thanks! That must have been the Canon 8-15mm Fisheye!
@@TimestormFilms I'm surprised you can take such amazing pictures of the night sky with a f/4. It seems I still have a lot to learn about astrophotography :D

Satellites.
Вот вживую увидеть бы такое.
Looks first apperance as LAL PALMA video
What is the music, credit?

awesome!
Are those commercial aircraft or shooting stars that are going in straight lines? To the best of my knowledge, aircraft fought paths rarely take them over Antarctica. But these streaks seem to make sharp turns, unlike shooting stars. This brings me to doubt that is it really captured over Antarctica? Amazing and calming footage though.
Its all satellites and they dont do turns. No airtraffic over the south pole. By the fact that you can see the milkyway with aurora it can only be recorded in Antarctica.
@@TimestormFilms I see. Great to know. Thanks a ton.
а чего самолетов то столько?
Those are satellites
он коктейль взбалтывает?
Sure alot of planes flying around the South Pole that is supposed to be too cold and fragile to fly over. mmm
Its satellites, not airplanes
