The solo is crazy
The only Metallica's song when Lars also contributed on the backing vocals (he's only screaming "DDDDDDDIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!!!"). Althought, he was recording some backing vocals for "St.Anger"'s sessions

I just found you and I am binge watching videos, you do a great job !! This song is a protest to the death penalty , a lot of Metallica's early stuff was protest related. Try Metallica - Seek And Destroy from their 1st album Kill Em All . The song is just about doing a show and metaphorically " kicking everyone ass ". IE putting on a hell of a great show .
