My brother and I decided to check out this game's multiplayer and ended up playing for like 7 hours -- we found 2 bosses, 3 types of enemies, and a few different cool biomes. An NPC moved in with us. Honestly after the first boss I started getting a little attached, hopefully this game is a good price

@@nixipixi8945 right?! But there's genuinely so much content and no real sign of hitting a limit quite yet. My brother says it's because they're going to let people carry over saves from the demo. Not sure if that's true, but it seems consistent..!
@@jauxro that would be fantastic! I've been watching a lot of videos about this game since commenting and it seems a lot of people have put quite a few hours of playtime into it. So it's awesome they won't have to start all over. I hope this game gets a lot of attention and they can port it to console! I would love to be able to play this on my Switch.
@@jauxro Been on the Steampage cause i wanted to play the demo but it's gone til release March 8. But they said Demo progress will be carried over.

This is the best demo I ever played I think. It’s a full game. I watched about half the video then played the demo. I didn’t want to be too spoiled on the game. Well done Splattercat on finding this one. It scratches all the itches.
made me Lol when I saw the notification about the gun drop, and then a minute later Splatty sees it in inventory and just gets so excited!
For some reason I'm really enamoured with the mining effect on terrain. Cute game, I'm curious to see more of it as it develops. Thanks Splatt'
This strikes me as a game where you NEVER want to throw anything away unless you literally have no choice, and even then, you want to start with the plain dirt and such that you get from digging/mining.
Also, underground game? Starting as a miner seems like a no-brainer.
everything minecraft about this I totally approve of! LOL I'm loving the pixel art too, it's all very well themed like nothing feels out of place :)

Looks coo.l. The way the digging and walls work remind me a lot of Dungeon Keeper. Definitely has potential.
Had a blast, played the demo for two days (about 14 hours) and only got one of three bosses down and had just got up to the third workbench crafting wise. The demo let you get really far and I still had so much to do when it ended. Skill tree was great and I'm glad you can reroll it seeing as the demo didn't let you read what later skills did (was worried I was locking in paths I wouldn't later like until I saw reroll option). So excited I can keep all that progress as thier Twitter states. Comes out March 8th so not too bad a wait.
One feature I really dig about this game is that it lets you use **any** weapon, tool or armor basically forever. You can "upgrade" all equipment and make everything from the most basic stuff to the late game ones viable up to the endgame.

Man… watching you trash seeds to make room in your inventory instead of planting them or storing them… that was hard to watch. Goes against every hoarder gaming instinct I have. 😅
Good ol splatt always has at least 1 cringe worthy or forehead smacking event in every video... I always look for them! It's like his calling card now... I look forward to them!
@@CD-vb9fi I'm guessing it's part of his formula. It not only makes for more engagement by itself, it also makes you feel like you would be able to do better so you'd be thinking of playing the game yourself. And again will be more invested into the rest of the video.
@@CD-vb9fi For me it was when he crafted the wood floor to try to get over water, when the first item the next row down looks like a bridge. So hard not to yell at the screen.
Later he mouses over it, twice, flicking between things. WOOD BRIDGE. AHAERHARHSGHRGH!!! :D

Played over 100hrs of Cryofall and this game absolutely is that/ Valheim in pixel art. cant stop playing, so good and it says its only version .2 just like Vampire Survivors. Maybe .2 is the new metric for fun as hell.

So funny, he needed to find the platform to cover the water, and bypassed that one item in the workbench....I don't even want to think about all the food he threw away.

I tried this demo - was enjoyable gameplay even though there's no apparent point. Reminds me of a few other games.

The point is to explore, find bosses, defeat bosses, and thrive.
Treat it like terraria meets stardew.

It's kinda interesting how I started playing this in March.. and it's like version 0.8 or 0.7.. meanwhile the demo is 0.2 and is only from February.. I suppose they released a lot in a short amount of time.
I'm a sucker for the pretty rocks. Big fan of hematite and lapis lazuli. They're beautiful.😍

As far as the style goes, it have Stardew Valley written all over it. Anyway, might just grab this when it comes out, as I'm a sucker for a mining/crafting games.

this giving me a mix of terraria and oddly enough dungeon-keeper vibes.
only issue other than a potential pacing one is that inventory is tiny given the number of items available.
How you growing plants with no sunlight?...needs a few fluorescent lights maybe? lol....looks interesting though will play the demo and keep an eye on it, looks like it gets a release on March 8th.

So your "class" only gives you a head start focus, not rigid limitation? I can get behind that.
