If you want a game to be talked about have RCE play it!! Half of my steam library was all because of these videos and Lightyear Frontier easily looks like a new addition!! :D
I have 5 games in my library (bog standard laptop, so I can't run much) 3 of them are games I only got because I've seen Matt play them and liked the look of them enough to get Steam. Edit: maybe it's only 4 games, in which case it is literally half. Edit again: I cannot math. 😓😭😅
Forgets for half the video that he has the vacuum harvester, then forgets that the water attachment can water his crops as well as wash away the slime... I guess he's had to deal with too many architects recently.
3:04 "Oh its a vacuum harvester - we've now got a vacuum harvester" 6:25 "Oh I need a vacuum harvester - I don't have a vacuum harvester" Matt - com'on, don't be an architect
I do not know if you have tried Oxygen Not Included, but in case you haven't, you definitely should! It is quite the cute-yet-infuriating over-engineering game that might be to your liking.
If you've ever seen the giant Imperial Knights in Warhammer 40k, those were also originally for forestry, farming, and recourse gathering. They only became machines of war once they needed defence and thought "hmm, the giant mech with a chainsaw arm might be able to kill aliens that want to kill us"
Interesting. I guess realistically giant mechs would be probably be a little less bad at civilian work than at fighting, but didn't know anything in WH40K was _not_ designed for war xD
@@carcharoclesmegalodon6904 the terminator armor is repurposed from the schematics of mining suits, a surprising amount of stuff is based of civilian equipment and adapted for war since invention is illegal and innovation is only allowed by very specific individuals
Day 1 of me messaging Matt. I have no requests or suggestions, I just thought I'd jump on the bandwagon. Keep up the good work R. C. E. you make videos I like so thanks for that.
Day 28 of continuing to peer pressure Paddy into making Matt play Mindustry more. It’s worked twice, the second time even it worked without any help from The_Box_King. I believe in you Paddy, you can truly make Matt do anything if you put your mind to it. PS: Paddy, cats are not architects, we're too aloof to care what other people think, when we make things we go for functionality and efficiency over form, which I believe is what an engineer does, no?
Technically, Matt did say it right based on how his country (and mine and literally everyone EXCEPT Amercia spells Aluminium). The text in game is spelt the American way but the developer is apparently Swedish. They've used the American spelling and I don't know if that's because Sweden spells Aluminium that way, or because they have used American English for the translation.
Something to keep in mind just cause almost all seas on earth are saltwater does not mean they would be salt water on another planet. In regards to the giant root.
I was legitimately expecting him to leave the mech at some point and 30 seconds later forget it existed entirely, then spend far too much time trying to do something mech-related without a mech, all the while wondering when he'll be able to get one......
That makes me think of a good April Fools idea for MechWarrior 5 which would be "MechWorker" where instead of fighting in a BattleMech or OmniMech, you're on some FWL backwater piloting IndustrialMechs.
You see, the first time you were struck by architecture. The second time when you swung with the mech's chainsaw arm and divorced that alien bird's head from it's body, that's when you were possessed by Civil Engineering. Architecture considered the wild fauna might be an issue. Civil Engineering created an answer. Was it a correct answer? Dunno.
I think it's MEANT to be ford, to be honest. Not the car kind but the river crossing kind. Although an actual ford is just a very shallow section of a river where you can walk across. The section in the game is above the waterline, so technically I guess it would be a dam. But it's not a manmade (or beaver made) structure. So it's more two thin lagoons separated by a protuberance of rock. The water shouldn't be flowing on either side of that rock (if it is). Unless the rock is the source of a spring (which would generate a flow). I don't think the feature is geographically accurate.
I love how quickly RCE forgot that he had the vacuum attachment 6:26
Not to mention he used it soon after and STILL it didn't register in his architet brain
And the spike saw like a minute later
I was yelling at the screen 7 minutes 😂😂
And then, after forgetting it, used it multiple times, then forgot it again.
He should play, "Learn to Fly" by Namco.
3:03 "Oh, it's a Vacuum Harvester!"
6:25 "Oh, i need a Vacuum Harvester. I don't have a Vacuum Harvester"

Yep, lol
This is where Matt finally realizes he’s has the vacuum harvester the entire time 14:18
Thank you, I almost wanted to leave the video
I paused 15 seconds before that wondering just how the comments reacted to this shenanigan 😂
hah!, We're all pausing at the mech upgrade platform to find out if he never gets it lol.
14:20 was the moment Matt realised that the comments were all going to be about the vacuum attachment.
true xD

Can't wait for Paddy to become his protective architecture dog on the farm!! 😊
I wonder.. if I plant some vegetables, surely my wife will then allow me to build a giant mech? Right? It's clearly the superior farming implement.
Probably this sooner than shooting your seed in the box
Nice to see you having fun shooting your seed.
Especially at that nice young lady's face
Forgets for half the video that he has the vacuum harvester, then forgets that the water attachment can water his crops as well as wash away the slime... I guess he's had to deal with too many architects recently.
I lost it at 21:36... Like no way did he say that and nobody else is reacting?
Looks like The Riftbreaker and Subnautica had a baby. And it's really adorable)
Fun fact... For humans, the irrigation hose and the seed shooter are integrated into the same tool
Everyone losing it over the vacuum harvester and here’s me just being taken out by “Fred”.
Normally, he names things to do with engineering or Matt. "Fred" was a bit left field and did make me laugh. 😅
I'm so happy that a game made in the beautiful city of Skövde, Sweden, made onto your channel!
Tried the demo thanks to you Matt and now it's wishlisted...took about 15 minutes to convince me. Thank you Matt!!!
The very exact moment he found out that he can suck up the water with the vacuum was soooooo relieving!
Saw three other people play this game, and knew you would be the one to finally point out the giant robot member.
this remembers so much of that love death + robots episode

What's wrong with the not-bridge? Is it a dam or something?
